Up next in the Team Katswell Character Guide is another member of Jack Rabbit's gang, the ever-so anger prone and anti-social snapping turtle, Redd Snapper.

Powers & Abilities:
Growing up on the mean streets of Petropolis, Redd has mastered the art of street fighting, often using a crowbar as his primary weapon. His shell offers him extra protection, and his spikes can deal a lot of damage if you're not careful. But, when he goes beserk, he pretty much becomes unstoppable, and feels like he can't be stopped.

Bio:
Unlike most snapping turtles, Redd Snapper was born with a genetic disorder: a red spiky shell. His parents told him to get over it, and told him that being born with a red shell is very exciting. However, it really effected him most of his life, and during his childhood, all the kids laughed at him, and called him names like "Spiny Back," "The Crimson Shell-Shocker," or "Tomato Urchin." Redd hated it so much, that in 7th grade, he ran away from home, and isolated himself from the rest of Petropolis. But, the mocking of his shell only got worse with age.
Redd was tramatized by humiliation straight into adulthood. The newspapers saw his red shell as a major news story, and wrote many stories advertising it like it was a tourist attraction. After reading ALL the tabloids about him, he developed Level 6 Anti-Social Behavior, and turned to a life of crime. Armed with a crowbar and a pistol, Redd robbed corner stores and antique stores, making him one of Petropolis' most feared criminal masterminds. It wasn't long, though, before the police found his hideout, and arrested him.
While in prison, Redd became even MORE anti-social, and got himself locked up in solitary confinement on numerous occassions. Jack Rabbit, on the other hand, was impressed by Redd's brute strength combined with his bitter rage. After talking it out with him, he and Redd became very good friends, and he was let onto his gang in prison, and while he still has trust issues around most of them, has gotten along with them well. His shell has been proven quite useful in their escape from prison, offering enough protection from the guards' bullets, and got his new friends safely out of prison.
Redd also assisted Jack and his henchmen in kidnapping Dudley, Jake, Allison, and Elvis in a revenge plot to get back at Kitty Katswell. And, before he could finally do them in, a mysterious force rescued them while Kitty was dealing with Jack downstairs. Once Team Katswell was reassembled, and did battle with the gang, Redd went up against Dudley Puppy, whose wacky antics pretty much got his knickers in a knot, making him angrier. He got SO mad, he nearly brought down the whole hideout with just his strength alone (thankfully it didn't). Once he and the rest of the gang got arrested, Redd has developed a bitter hatred towards Dudley, and vows to have his pelt on his wall one day.

Personality & Traits:
As stated before, Redd suffers from Level 6 Anti-Social Behavior, and often lashes out immediately at anyone trying to come near him, even his own teammates. While in Jack's gang, he always rolls his eyes at their odd traits and quirks, and he thinks they're all idiots except for himself and Jack. As for Jack, he sees him as the only person who understands him, and would lay down his whole life to commit crimes with him and/or for him.
Interestingly though, Redd has had a crush on Kitty when he was in the 3rd grade. As he got older, he always wanted to tell her his true feelings for her, but because of how anti-social he was, just couldn't do it. He wrote a poem for her telling her his feelings for her, and years later, when she was investigating his old hideout for clues, she came across it, and was moved by how beautiful it was. Since then, Kitty decided to find him, and hopefully, make him realize that there are furries out there that support him through thick and thin.
Redd also seems to have an escape whenever he gets picked on and bullied. To him, the only true "friends" he had were gangsters on the big screen, and he has always dreamed about being a Mafia gangster to get back at those who bullied him. He also likes to calm down by listening to classical music since his parents often played it on Sunday dinners when he was a kid. But, Zapper Ram has picked on him a lot because of this, and he always pounds him in result. Regardless of such, Redd has always been a fierce criminal, and is willing to follow Jack to the ends of the Earth, and into the crime history books.
