Sometimes all you need for a tasty dinner is a jar of sauce, a bag of pasta, and a package of pre-cooked chicken. Oh, and garlic!

Ingredients:
6 cups boiling water
1 cup dried rotini pasta
Half a jar of ready-made pesto
Olive oil
2 tbsp chopped garlic (you can use fresh or jarred)
1 package ready-made chicken
Parmesan cheese (optional)
Steps:
1) Boil water in a large saucepan. While waiting for it to boil, sauté the garlic in a frying pan with some olive oil and then toss chicken in on medium-low heat (it’s already fully cooked, we’re just adding more heat and flavour).
2) Add pasta to boiled water, letting cook on medium high heat until al dente.
3) Turn off the elements and drain the pasta with a colander/strainer. Add pasta back to pot along with chicken and half of pesto sauce, stirring to fully coat pasta.
4) Serve immediately.
Some side notes:
• Pesto sauce is best served at room temperature and should be refrigerated after opening. It doesn’t need to be heated up.
• Despite the name, this can easily feed 2 people.
