This is a snippet of my latest pic which I’m working on the side.

Basically since getting back into MapleStory, I’ve had more opportunity to taste test various character classes than ever before, due mainly to Maple 2021 being much more rounded, refined and accessible to the average user than even early access Global back in 2005 thru 2009

This is a good example of my switch from crossbow Sniper/Marksman to Hunter/Ranger in 2021

Now my preference will still lie with the crossbow snipers due to the high damage per shot, but I must admit that the hunter/ranger class does make up for lesser alpha damage with some pretty sick special moves and skills not available to crossbowmen!

It would take me the better part of the night just to gloss over the differences between sub-classes of archers but suffice to say that I’m now firmly rooted in either camp and NOT just a crossbow girl any more. XD

And this is just describing the humanoid Explorer character class... there is another class of archer that could be though of as the panicle, and I will draw here in a separate image later... and that character class would be Mercedes, Queen of the Ellule Elves.

I have in fact been playing both the human explorer archer classes AND the specialized Mercedes class and there is little in common between them, other than being archers on a basic level. There are skills similarities in a way, and that has made my exploration of the Elf Queen class much easier for me as a more experienced Human Explorer Archer. And I can say I like both the human and Elvan archers equally now!

For this pic, I intend to reprisent Yuki my fursona as a bit of a mix of both, Elvan attire, but with more modern human equipment in the form of a compound bow. XD
