This is Sir Richard the Protector but he often just goes by Richard. He is a dragon that was trained to be a knight by the legendary Lady Chiron after he quite literally fell from the sky before her. After nearly a decade of training he is now exploring the world as a final part of his training under the orders of Lady Chiron to learn about the world and where his place is in it. Believe it or not though he wasn't always a dragon but was actually human and not of this world.
He had a troubled childhood and he ran away from home one day after being beaten up by his father one too many times. Making his way to an old castle he stumbles across Alke ,a Demi-Muse, who then transforms him into a dragon and takes him to the world he now currently resides.
Does he think about his old home? Yes.
Does he want to go back? No, not that he knows how to anyway.
Richard just wants to protect those in need and punish those who abuse their places of power but he is also young and inexperienced. While he's good on the battlefield of swords, the battlefield of politics is a whole other game.

After over a year of creating stories for Richard along with some amazing art by many talented artists I've begun to understand who Richard really is and I've decided to give him an update on his design. Is it overelaborate? Probably but I still love it nonetheless and I hope you guys do too.
