The following is his details post-graduation from the HIVE Academy
Description
Upon his graduation from HIVE Academy, Vex had the free time to expand his occult prowess through private study, as well as demonic tutorship.
Abilities

- Masks:
Vex's mask, as well as the masks that he grants his henchmen recruits, have been fueled with dark energy. The interior of the mask is laid with an occult seal that keeps the energy bound. A mask can be broken, destroying the seal and releasing the stored energy, which then greatly empowers nearby phantoms.
- Athame:
The athame that Vex carries as well as the blades he grants his henchmen all bear dark enchantments that empower rituals in which they are used. Additionally, since each of their blades are forged from Vex's own bones, they weave a powerful connection and allow him to easily scry upon their wielders.
- Hexes:
Vex has many curses that require little to no preparation and are able to be performed quickly on a whim.
- Specters:
Specters are sentient masses of Vex's dark energy similar to his Phantoms, with higher durability and greater offensive powers. Some are even capable of lesser projection abilities.
- Sin Sculpting:
Perhaps his greatest ability is the potential to manipulate the nature of demonic life. This ability can be used in many ways, but the following are his most common methods:

. . Imbuing or otherwise re-balancing the sin(s) of a demon's nature
- Contracted Demons:
Vex is greatly enabled and empowered by the contracts he has forged with a multitude of demons. The details of these contracts and the demons that hold them can be found ??
- Planar Rift:
At the pinnacle of his abilities, Vex is able to open a rift to the Hellscape. It takes a large amount of energy not only to open this tear in space, but also to keep it sustained. Typically he can only perform this technique in areas of extremely saturated ambient dark energy, or with the fueling aid of dark artifacts.
Extraneous Factors
- Location:
Vex's abilities rely on negative energies. While he can draw strength from himself or frustrated opponents, human emotion is a flicker of inconsistent and limited power, and while handy in a pinch, is far from reliable. Rather, he most commonly relies on negative energies that exist ambiently. Areas with remarkable amounts of negative energy allow him to perform greater feats, while areas with little to no negative energy, such as certain holy grounds, severely limit his abilities.
- Magical:
Being occult in nature, most of Vex's abilities can be stunted when met with adequate magical protections.

Vex can store a limited amount of negative energy within an item, enabling it to be used as a battery to fuel his abilities. Similarly, artifact-like items that naturally have an abundance of negative energy can also be utilized to fuel his powers.
