For some reason, I had this idea for a character in my head for a while. I've been toying with the idea of starting a different book because I am so unsure about Weight and See on some days. I'm also unsure about the portrayal of parents in Media. Maybe I watch the video recently about parents in Media and how they usually suck because the father is usually a dumbass, and the mother is someone who nags a lot. That, or they are close-minded. Even Ricky's father is guilty of the latter.
I wanted to do something different. This is the father of the main character in the concept that I thought of for this other book. He is a character that cares deeply about his son and is always trying to push him to work hard, which is going to end up being the moral of the story is about working hard and diligence and what not. He created a machine that basically gives him immortality and electrical powers, because he always wants to be there for his son and protect his son, but at the cost of it needing a power source. I can imagine that that would be an important plot point in the story.
Still not entirely sure about what a Longneck is supposed to look like. Normally, they are supposed to have versatile feet that act as their hands because their real hands are not very good, but I don't feel like I capture that. I feel like the first drawing of Aziz captured that the best so far. As for Reynards hands? Not entirely sure, but I am guessing that he either built those hands with other specialty hands that he was given, or he used his feet to build them.
