This is a species I decided to make that is inspired by actual Starseeds (google Starseeds to find out more, it's an interesting read) which is something I believe in and believe I'm one. You don't have to believe in Starseeds or be one to make a character with this species, but you're more than welcome to use it to create a representation of your true self if you do believe in that sort of stuff!
*Note: I do not encourage or endorse cults, white supremacy, eugenics, or any of that nonsense. Just like with any fandom, belief, or religion, there are BAD people out there taking advantage of others, the information about Starseeds even warns about there being bad Starseeds out there that only do bad things. Bad people in a fandom/belief/religion do not make the whole thing bad. Do be careful and do your own research. Learn about B.I.T.E. (Behavior control, information control, technology control, emotional control) and how to avoid cults or manipulative people. I'm more on the side of just believing I'm a funky spiritual alien cat that just wants everyone to be happy.

Traveling Soul Aliens

What is a Starseed? At their base, Starseeds are aliens that travel through space spiritually and will inhabit planets either by incarnating on it, possessing an inhabitant, or creating their own body that matches the planet's inhabitants. There are many different types of Starseeds.They are typically on the planet with the goal to help the inhabitants and/or the planet. In some cases, Starseeds could also be there for their own benefit to help their own planet or they have their own dark goals.

The Lifespan of a Starseed: All Starseeds start as a star-shaped soul seed that is planted on their home planet. When they are born, they come out of the seed as a smol soul. During this time, their parents and community will nurture the soul until their body forms. Once they've grown to an adult, they can decide to travel to other planets. Thus will begin their journey travelling to other worlds with their mission, living multiple lifespans. Eventually, they may decide to return to their home planet after their most recent lifespan has ended. When their base-life nears its end, they usually return to their home planet or favorite planet to live out their last days. The multiple lifespans they live are referred to as 'Cycles'. The number of Cycles a starseed can live depends on the type of starseed they are.

Starseed Reproduction: A starseed will reproduce by taking a piece of their soul and combining it with their partner(s) soul piece which will form the star-shaped seed to plant. Hybrids are possible when combining more than one type of starseed soul.
