This is a thumbnail for a later possible digital painting depicting the Battle of Kashyyyk (Separatist Crisis). My character Taloombray and his military troupe participated in this battle and were largely slaughtered like most of the Wookiee forces who fought in that battle. Taloombray and a few of his fellows were captured and interrogated on the location of some sensitive information held within the Wookiee Trade Guild, but when they had nothing to tell (because they had no clue what the Separatists were talking about) they went from "prisoners of war" to "slaves".

Still... backstories aside, I have been wanting to do a big battlefield scene with Wookiees and droids. Technically, the B2 battle droids were more prevalent during the Battle of Kashyyyk than the droidekas, but droidekas are cooler looking, and "block out" less of the background activity than the B2s. Plus the shield bubble provides for fun challenges to digital painting.
