Charlie and Itchy decided to spend Christmas with David at his house this year. While David and his family went out Christmas shopping, Charlie decided to organize a little surprise for their return, despite his friend’s protests.
About an hour later, Itchy had been sleeping in David’s room when he suddenly heard a loud crash. Running outside, he found Charlie at the base of a ladder tangled in Christmas lights, dazed and confused.
“Charlie! Speak to me! What happened?!” cried Itchy.
“Am I hearing jingle bells, or is that a partridge in a pear tree?” came Charlie’s dizzy response.
From then on, Charlie learned a valuable lesson. There’s a reason certain tasks meant for humans are not to be done by dogs… like hanging Christmas lights on a house.
