Another Patreon reward art I got from Ferroth of Deviantart. https://www.deviantart.com/ferroth
"A Patreon reward for MegaJeff1989 This shows Jabari as an infant being held by his father, Pharaoh Sadiq, and mother Nneka in an alternate, fantasy Earth. I've long been a fan of the story of how royalty or those destined for greatness, end up swept through a journey of humility. Jabari goes from riches to rags...and eventually rises back again, but where he has been in life (the wild) gives him insight to lead.
As you can see, the loincloth Jabari wears was once the blanket that wrapped him as an infant. The path to real greatness is through hardship--it's not through luxury. It's through involvement with the lowly, not from a high horse.
Sadiq is actually an Urdu name and it means "Loyal, true." Jabari's father is true to his people and to his wife and son. He rules selflessly and with a solemn responsibility--he understands his place in society is sacred and not to abused--lest it could come back on him. Nneka is a name in Igbo and it means, "My mother is supreme." Nneka shows great strength and dedication--and is involved with the citizens personally, tending to the needs of those forgotten and helping them start new lives--she didn't like leaving anyone in the cities forgotten. Sadiq honored her until her fate when she fled into the desert with Jabari...
Jabari remains their hope.
Both are depicted in their twenties here--though they have lifespans that strength 100's of years."

I've decided that it would probably be best not been mentioned how he got it. I'm going to ask Ferroth to change the text about how he got it. After all, it's never mentioned how Tarzan and Mowgli got theirs. (The movie, TV, and illustrated children's book versions of Mowgli at least)
true lmao tarzan and mowgli were supposed to be naked. "Savages" so to speak could be wearing loincloths yeah, but they were both feral children...would they even know how to clothe themselves, or even care, since they think they're animals? lol movie companies just gave them loincloths anyways so kids can watch
