The wilds are deep, dark, and dangerous. But even more threatening than the monsters that prowl the shadows, ready to snap up any unsuspecting prey, are the old enchantments. Hard to tell exactly when they were set, by who, for what purpose, but ancient magic courses through the unsettled wilderness of the world - and for one who cannot sense magic, they can be far more dangerous than anything that can be felled with a sword.
But that doesn't mean I don't have allies.
Even the ancient world had heroes. I suspect that's what they must have been, anyway. For wicked curses are not the only ancient magic that runs through the land. Healing magic and protective spirits also roam, ready to restore strength to a wounded warrior fallen victim to such a curse.
I cannot see them, I cannot sense them, but wherever they are, I thank them.

Honestly, this feels like an entire narrative waiting to unravel. I have just watched a movie involving symbiotes, and while an entirely unrelated topic, in a fantasy setting, I expect it to be a something related to the supernatural. Having dialogued with you at length about your fursona's backstory, it is always a pleasure to see him interact with the unfamiliar and otherworldly. Personally, I enjoy such foreign encounters as they really stretch the imagination.
