Yep, 10 years exactly. It's a bit of a bigger date than it perhaps would have been otherwise, but this account was a bit of a new start for me, so while it's just a random account on a furry site it was also the date where i started the Nomax persona so to speak and took the place in the fandom that i now occupy. Strange how things go sometimes, didn't really open this account thinking too much. A friend said i should because why the heck not, draw some art, show it off, and now it's kinda the main thing in my life. Well perhaps not the account itself but the whole being an artist that evolved around it. I've had grander plans, perhaps an artbook of sorts but clearly with today being the day, and me decidedly not having even started the artbook, those grander plans didn't manifest. Instead you'll get this. A dumb doodle of Nomax as the shell-shocked cupcake dog. Taunted by chocolate cake, and forever damaged by the things he's seen after 10 years around here.
I want to speak heartfelt thanks to everyone here. Always a pleasure to read through what you all have to write, hear about which paintings you enjoy, stories that come to mind and all that good stuff! Has been great fun for those past 10 years and hopefully we'll be able to continue it onward for a while yet.
Also apparently the Nomax character joined us in April of 2016, meaning more than half of that time was with that character at the helm of my online presence. Kinda weird that i made him that early on in the process but then again the whole 10 years feel weird when it comes to my perception of the timeline of it. Like was this account really just 4 years old when the whole Trump stuff started? That just feels wrong...
But i guess that's just how time goes, right? Just starts to be come weirder and weirder as you get older and ones perception of it shifts.
Anyways, just rambling at this point. Thank you very much all of you, and i hope you enjoyed what little i could contribute to the life of you all as well! Even if it just was a picture every now and then.

An early adopter! You were always a staple of the users for me though. Just such a fun character and very eye catching too, and your art is a treat as well with that playful naughty combo of many of your pictures, even if they doesn't end up around here too often nowadays.

Don't they just? I mean i'm just getting to that age where it really becomes a thing and where you experience it and it isn't just that weird saying your parents are always saying or what have you. But yeah, especially the latter half of those 10 years feel very condensed in a supremely strange way. And according to everyone who's been here it'll only get weirder as time goes on!

I'm glad you're still here! The fandom can be many things and sometimes the entropy of that mixed bag can be enough to chase people off. Your artwork is of course always a delight, but I also really appreciate that you're articulate and willing to engage with your followers even if its just through informal journals like this.

Thank you, yeah i try my best to kinda stay in touch, even if it just means plopping down a quick "thank you". I mean it can be a bit tough to do as you can see by the sheer size of this comment section and me being a rather slow writer. But yeah, it's just a tenant from my early days that i'm sticking too because it's good fun!
Downside being that i get to know many people who are fun to be around but i simply don't have the time to give the attention to that they deserve. So i know we only talk very sporadically, but i really appreciate having you around!

I don't remember exactly when I began watching you, but it was not too long after you joined the site; I have some of your art saved on my computer that I downloaded over 8 years ago.
It's been a pleasure to be along for the ride as you've developed so impressively as an artist. Best wishes for many more years of beautiful art.
