"Maybe we'll all live together again someday."
Ali
Gender: Female
Age: 12
Species: Longneck (Apatosaurus)
Affiliation: The Far-Walkers
Biography:
Ali was born into a tribe of nomadic dinosaurs called the Far-walkers, having spent a rather lonely childhood roaming endlessly in the mysterious beyond and settling down for short periods of time, there were very few other dinosaurs her age, and the only one she befriended was a rather controlling longneck by the name of Rhett, who was quite possessive of her and didn't like Ali playing with anyone else besides him. The main reason she did so was because she was impressed by his grand stories about how he bravely fought sharpteeth on his own. But it has also led to her being untrusting of other kids who aren't longnecks like her or Rhett.
One day, when her tribe arrived in the Great Valley for a reunion of old friends, Ali snuck off from the tribe, and soon stumbled across Littlefoot, surprised at seeing another longneck her age , and an especially cute one at that! Ali begins playing with him and the two start bonding, happy to play with someone who's actually loving and kind for once, although she's a little distant with his friends at first. But before she could get to know him and his friends better, Rhett snatches her away to play 'Rescue' with him, and warns Littlefoot that if he catches him playing with Ali again, he will not hesitate to hurt him.
Things take a turn, however, when Littlefoot's grandfather falls ill with an old disease. A virus which killed thousands and drove both the Great Valley's residents and Far-walkers out of their old home of Misthaven City, which was once a proud standing city like the Great Valley, was now known as "The Lost City of Mists". Besides the viral outbreak, constant rainfall which lead to floods destroying supplies and making the lower levels of buildings unlivable, invasive species from the floods destroying food, and a broken water filtration system which made local water undrinkable, lead to the city ultimately being deemed lost and all its residents evacuated.
What's even worse was that the only known place where the 'night flower' (an ingredient to the cure for his grandfather's illness) grows is in the lost city itself, while his friends declined to go there, Littlefoot wasn't just going to sit around and let his grandfather die, and thus brought along Ali to help him collect the flowers, his friends did eventually join them too when they learned that Littlefoot ran off on his own. Unbeknownst to them, someone had followed the Treestar Chasers when they went off in search of their leader...
It was a dangerous journey in the Lost city of mists, with invasive creatures having taken over the city, along with the constant floods and heavy rainstorms, and the thick fog making it hard to see, what they weren't expecting was when Rhett followed the team here and attacked Littlefoot by pushing him into one of the city's canals, and badly hurting him in a fight when Rhett learned that Littlefoot took Ali away from him, but when the rain started picking up, the two were swept away and nearly drowned in the canals! Thankfully they were rescued by Ducky and Ali, respectively, and together soon found the night flowers and returned home just in time to cure Littlefoot's grandfather!
After their trip to the lost city, Ali dumps her old abusive boyfriend Rhett for nearly killing Littlefoot, and spends the next few weeks getting to know the Treestar Chasers, as she plays along with them and soon forms a loving relationship with Littlefoot, and as thanks for helping save his life, Grandpa Longneck crafts a brand new compound bow for Ali after her old recurve bow broke in Misthaven city. Ali and the other Far-walkers eventually had to leave the great valley, but she claims that maybe she'll meet up with Littlefoot and the Treestar Chasers again sometime in the future!
Skills:
As she's a member of the Far-walkers, Ali is quite lacking in technology compared to the Treestar Chasers, but possess plenty of great skills you'd expect from a member of a nomadic tribe!
For starters, Ali's archery skills are absolutely unmatched, she's the best sharpshooter in the series, and can easily fire multiple highly accurate shots with her bow in just seconds. She's also surprisingly acrobatic and agile for a longneck, and can access higher areas incredibly quickly with her agility. It's also no surprise that Ali would be an excellent fighter as well, and is especially deadly with her knife. Which according to her, was carved out of bones from a sharptooth the tribe killed.
Ali also has a good amount of knowledge on survival skills like crafting, farming, and cooking. And as she's a Far-walker she also has much more knowledge of the Mysterious Beyond than the other kids.
In this image, Ali rests against a tree, whistling to herself whilst waiting for Littlefoot, as they approach The Lost City of Mists.
Notes:
I've been excited to make this picture for sometime now! as I've made Ali's outfit in Heroforge quite some time ago, and it fits so well that unlike many of the others, this one probably has the least amount of changes to the design! https://sta.sh/0t7s8tp1lvb

Whoa! You really created a masterpiece with Ali The way you used 'Land Before Time IV: Journey Through the Mists' and her appearance during the TV Series.
***
'The Lost City of Mists' is a very clever concept that builds upon what was established in canon LBT while providing quite the location for one, or more, adventures in your AU. The canals remind me much of where Ducky nearly met her end to Icky & Dil in the 4th movie. It would not surprise me if Rhet & Littlefoot's conflict would need to be put on hold while fighting for their lives against amphibious Sharpteeth. There may also be some rogue Sharpteeth making their homes in the city ruins along with very hardened survivors who found refuge in the dangerous ruins of the city. (Some survivors may be nicer than others. Perhaps Tickles and the turtle who helped in LBT 4 would be helpful during the quest for 'The Night Flower'.).
***
The abilities you gave Ali are perfect! They are all what I would have hoped for with even more good stuff to make her perfect! Great job!
