“I’ve been raised to fight for as long as I can remember. I figured that, since I’ve been given such great responsibility, I ought to use it for those who can’t protect themselves.”

Dragonheart is about as stubborn as she is reckless. But, even when her back is against the wall, Sunngifu is usually the only one left standing and willing to fight, even when the rest of the Titans lose hope. She’s resilient and courageous- and can maintain that through the most brutal battles and the strongest of storms.

Sunny knows where her heart lies- with her friends and any innocent person that may need her help. She won’t compromise that for anything or anyone, so when the people closest to her lose heart or attempt to fall in a darker place, she will fight tooth and claw to make sure that never happens. Even if she has to beat the sentiment into them if they’re led astray. Though she comes off as brash and aggressive, Sunny is hard to corrupt as a result of that.

Even with all the walls Sunny puts up, always acting tough, she’s a very kind and sweet person under it all. It might take some digging to see it, but that kindness is the driving force behind everything she does, spurring her on and fueling her powers.

Though, that’s not to say she doesn’t have shortcomings, either. Her intolerance to compromise makes it hard for her to cope when things don’t go the way she expects it to, running herself ragged when it really isn’t necessary. It gets her into all kinds of trouble, having brushed with death more times than most of the Titans deem comfortable, which is especially startling considering they’re all heroes. It is part of the job, but Sunny makes it look like they’re trying to kill themselves.

She often forgets that there are people who love her, and want to keep her safe, too. Just the same as she wants to protect them. She would rather push them away instead of accepting their help and affection, but that doesn’t stop the Titans from being there when she needs them most. No matter what she says or does.

In short, each Titan has something they’re known for- Nightwing is a great leader, Starfire is strong and beautiful, Raven has her mysterious allure, Cyborg has his intelligence and tech smarts, and Beast Boy often acts like the zoo he has in his arsenal.

But Dragonheart has her passion, an ever burning flame that refuses to go out.
