Volpes pulled out a glowing blue vial from his tunic and handed it to Richard. "The very vial that transformed me and it can be yours too. All I ask is that you use it for good and help others but I don't think that's much of an issue for you".

Richard twirled the vial around his hand and looked up at the fox. This vial could make him as strong as them? Fighting monsters would be a breeze and he wouldn't ever need to break a sweat whilst doing it. How could he say no? Popping the vial open he drank the contents in one gulp.

Volpes smiled. "You've made the right choice".

Warmth went through his body as the potion went to work. Strength entered his limbs as they increased in size. The wounds he got from the wraith healed up leaving no mark. His stature and weight increased but he didn't feel sluggish. In fact he now felt more nimble than he had ever done before. New smells entered his nostrils and he could read the labels on the bottles at the back of the room as his senses increased tenfold.

He stood up as the last of the changes took hold and his left eye glowed green, indicating he was no longer the same man that he was before.

"Thank you, Master". He responded ,flexing his arms. "Dang. I can really get used to this".

"You will in time", Volpes replied. "I know you are already trained but I would like to see my second in command at the warehouse at the edge of this district. He's Captain of the guard and will train you how to properly use your new strength".

Richard nods, "Yes sir". Grabbing his gear he heads off to the warehouse knowing in his heart he has made the right choice and will do everything in his power to make sure that his master will not be disappointed.
