I feel like I should start writing up bios for characters, especially characters I'm writing books about.

This is Toasty the Mopua. His species name comes from the Hawaiian words Mo-oh (Dragon) and Pua'a (Pig). The Mopua are very strong and intelligent, capable of Mind Magic (The ability to read and transmit thoughts, manipulate the actions of others and telekinesis) and Matter Magic (the ability to summon objects and alter your body), and Toasty is a particularly compitent Matter Mage. Mopuas are also capable of hovering with their wings and breathing fire, the former of which Toasty is too heavy to do so.

Toasty is a preschool teacher with one big goal: to cut down on bullying in the world, and aside from having a harmless fondness for children and their antics, believes that the best place to start is at the beginning. In school, he demonstrates playfulness and compassion, often using magic to teach his class. When punishing kids, he tends to be a bit scary, yet assertive. While he tends to be nice overall, he's also quite impulsive and tends to fixate on thoughts that enter his brain. He's also a bit of an egotist, being both fairly smart and very strong. At over 8ft tall, he's bigger than most people he knows.

Toasty is a character who can switch from Kind and Cuddly to Big and Intimidating when needed. His big, fat belly compliments both of these, giving him a silly look that his students find comfortable, but it also gives him size pressence that helps intimidate those who wish to do harm, and his belly also offers his body a reliable cushion for impact.
