Doctors are....well what the name implies. Though the title tends to be used for both medical and scientific staff. I will give a brief description of both since, like irl, Doctor is a title used in both the medical and scientific field

Medical Doctor: The guys in charge of making sure the Norski dont drop dead any faster than they already do. A bit of a crude explanation but accurate one as the doctors, alongside nurses, work in the medical facilities of towns and cities to treat the sick, wounded, and dieing. They manufacture medicine, create the correct doses of medication for patients, perform surgeries on infected or damaged internal organs, handle amputations and follow up prosthetics placements, experiment with new medicines, write reports and thesis on their findings, and in general do everything in their power to heal the sick, treat the injured, and save the dieing as best as they can. Being a medical professional is a very lucrative and respected profession among the Norski as well as one that makes you popular with your community, especially if you yourself are from the community as it makes patients feel more at ease knowing someone they trust has the proper training to heal them.

Scientific Doctor: The scientific minds of the Norskian Empire, these are the men and women who are in charge of producing the chemicals, toxins, and other substances needed in everything from FTL-Core coolant to floor cleaner. When not producing the chemicals used by the machines and people of Norskia the scientists experiment, attempting to find ways to improve their existing technology and possibly bring about new ones. Though sadly inventing technology in Norskia is difficult as the extreme weather conditions of the planet make most sensitive technologies we use irl less effective due to a constant need to repair or replace such things on a weekly basis. Though it is also thanks to these scientists that TVs, Outdoor lights, automated mine pumps, Phones, computers, gaming consoles, microchips, mechanical wiring, and other such things have been utilized after scientists experimented to weatherproof these machines against the intense cold. It is thanks to these smart boys and girls that every challenge Norskian technology faces is eventually overcome through constant experimentation, peer review, and a process of constant trial and error.
