Yeah but Glocks are new Polymer-Framed plastic, plus there's that lack of a manual safety. I think that, as a Mother and Teacher, she'd find more comfort and solace in something proven and with a positive manual safety.
plus I just think it'd be neat, what with her buying a 1911 that was MADE in 1911 because she was alive back then. and with a Steel Frame, you can bedazzle it so much more than a glock with gold inlay and engravings.
