This is a gift artwork for my good friend Aldo, aka

The picture shows the red dragon “Orion” and the human girl “Alice”. Both characters are so different… and yet they work together and depend on each other. I like this kind of diversity.

Special note:
The artwork itself (characters, line art, colours, effects) is made with traditional media – but the background is made with digital media.
This time I’ve tried to combine both media I’m currently using… and I’m quite pleased with the result. But I won’t do that very often!
I rather prefer working with just ONE media option. ^^

The thumbnail made Orion look a bit like Groul... strange. And I see you've not lost a bit of your skills to do scales and shaders under traditionals! They look so well, like, your vintage works :D
If I had to critique anything on it, maybe the eyes on Alice are a bit too big, but I don't know if the character is meant to be that way (Anime-ish?).

Yeah, well... if you know MY characters and compare it to many other characters... take a red dragon with horns and most of them look alike. Peew, yeah. :P
I'm glad you like my style and I admit... the pose (profile view) was not that difficult and it's similar to my latest traditional "Reptile" picture... but whatever. ^__^
It was a gift and... I'm glad that I could do this considering my limited time.
Alice IS too big, yes. She must stand on "something", hehehe... she is so small, but she wouldn't fit to the picture then. So I've "lifted" her!!!
And yes, HER face is drawn in MANGA style. That's the way it is. ^^

Strange, I saw it and I thought I commented on it.
Yeah, Reppy is all-made-of-love xD, the pose indeed is rather similar, but the designs are quite different, so it's no cutting any merits. I'm not sure if I understood well the descrption, but are you working on another storyline similar to the comics you've made to the date? A 6th comic would be incredibily awesome, but I'm not sure if it's what you're planning.
On a side note reading the comments, 5 years ago I was like grrr since I had to chew through The Circle of Doom in (for me) perfectly unintelligible German xD, but now that I have that .doc in english... I may go through it, again. :D

But you're right: hanging up pictures at the wall is one of my "hobbies", too. And that's one reason why I mostly stick to TRADITIONAL art. ^__^

I can't believe that still every time I look at this drawing I'm still amazed at your detail. Every time I look at I I catch myself staring in awe. I don't think you could get any better than a drawing like this other than 3D. And your a traditional artist also if I remember right? That just makes it more unbelievably awesome!! Sorry, but i can't express to you enough how amazing this is!!! I'm so jealous of your gifted talent.
