TF Not Included 06 - Critter Storage
We dig down to level 2, finding most of the remaining colonists as well as their frozen pets. And it seems we have a guest in the water tank, though one with deep shyness and concern about people walking around outside. Hmmmm...
Votes: Which colonist to do next, How to approach Hydroponics, What to Dig out after floor 3, What to do with the Barracks space.
Whooo. Floating along in Alaska, trying to make things work. I finally have disposable income, so furniture is coming soon. Doing YCH stories when the energy is there.

So we can all agree that maintaining the barracks is the play, right? Yeah? Good.
For our next TF subject Randama Ko and Han Tsu are looking pretty prospective in their own rights, Randama for the possibility of a robotic form allowing for less resource drain and Han for figuring out our electrical situation a little better. If you think on it Randama would be perfect for cleaning off those solar panels on the outside of the colony, but... that assumes we'll be able to access the outside that easily, and the possibility of the Space Dock being a vacuum is a little too risky for our current scenario. Good to think about, but it's still early.
Pets: Not yet. We're not desperate for electrical power or rations, so let's not be too hasty here. These things could be good for morale later.
Ssam: Scan first, holy shit, that fruit just exploded and you're just gonna eat that? (That said, if we don't think we can afford that luxury, then grenade fruits are conceptually amazing enough to justify it.)
Rena: As I previously mentioned, the Space Dock isn't worth it right this second. My vote goes to the Main Shaft since we're not in any particularly great place to explore at the moment, but I've been known to be overly cautious.
On an unrelated note, Leon should honestly probably just be made into a bulldozer when their time comes. (Not yet though.) Their focus basically guarantees that'll be their function no matter what, so if we're going to itemize anyone over the course of this thing, it's proooobably gonna be that one. Also, the idea of a sentient bulldozer is funny to me.

Art:
Sasha Rastalfen - Sasha is my first pick. Between the recreational chemicals, the fruit sampling, and the chemistry lab... Ssam needs help now. He's too cute to die this early.
Han Tsu - An honorable mention for preventing Rena from hitting a hot power cable while drilling.
Pet Thaw:
Not Yet - Preferably its best to secure the area and outnumber the animals before unleashing the sleeping beauties.
Ssam:
Scan First - For SCIENCE! He's eaten it, so time to observe the side effects. Do not let yourself be distracted by potatoes.
Rena:
Mining Dock - The other options pose too much risk without skilled personnel.
Barracks:
Maintain & Clear Out - Give the colonists time to grieve then move on. The people in cryo haven't said their goodbyes yet.

It's finally out! And I'm ready to lay down my votes.
Art: Han Tsu. The other voters make good arguments for him, and besides, a burrowing form would probably help with debris cleanup. Honorable mention goes to Pyotr, who's the best candidate to investigate the something in the water.
Pet Thaw: Not Yet. Until we can increase our personnel, they'd be more trouble than they're worth.
Ssam: Scan First. The grenade fruit could be useful, but we really should know what we're dealing with.
Rena: Mining Dock. The other two options are riskier, plain and simple.
Barracks: Maintain. It seems like a reasonable compromise between the other options. Preserve the things that aren't a health hazard.

Seems we're all in agreement here for once? Good. My votes are the same as all of y'all's.

Art: Transform Han Tsu. He seems like a person who could help us build and fix things around the base so we can be better prepared for getting new colonists.
Pet thaw: Not Yet. I think we should wait until we have a stable surplus of food for the pets to thaw
Ssam: Scan first
Rena: Mining Dock
Barracks: Maintain

I generally agree with the other voters here with one exception that I know I'm outvoted on: Eat the grenade fruit, don't waste time scanning it. For gods' sakes, we're the TF fandom. We THRIVE on icky side effects.
I think once the water and oxygen situations are in hand we should thaw the pets to free up the voltage. They're all real small, and who knows, could be some good uplift candidates or fuse-with-colonists candidates here.
