In a nation known for it's affinity for martial arts, a large scale tournament, known simply as The Brawl, is held for it's inhabitants and foreigners to test their prowess and styles against each other. Each species in this nation tend to live separate from one another in something similar to tribes, for the sole purpose of making the best fighter their species can have.
The bull tribe named Faingoh are known for being highly experimental with their techniques. Some of their members aim for agility and acrobatic movement, while others go for explosive power, and yet other rely more on patient technique. It such a varied society, rising to the top is difficult, yet an extreme honor, for the best of them gets to represent their whole species in The Brawl.
Like most of his brethren, Boloin too aimed to be the best their was. Having a powerful and tall body type, he was one of the power hitters of his kind, but this field was already quite overpopulated. While he was good he was not as great as some of the other strong types of his kind. He knew he needed something extra to push him further, something to complement his height and push his already massive leg strength even more. So he went on pilgrimage to find his own way, a respected and encouraged act for struggling fighters.
He spent a couple of years traveling his nation but simply could not find anything that worked for him. Knowing the unique fighting styles that exist outside of his land, he went to international lands, specifically to the East. He simply had a gut instinct that he'd find what he was looking for there, and he definitely did.
For in the East, the art of Sumo is practiced. It's practitioners build heavy and burly physiques to foster and explosive fighting style, where their extra weight and power gave them the edge. Boloin, with his already large physique and powerful legs carried his newfound weight very well. Bulls were known for there tactics involving charging at an enemy and now he had extra mass to back it up.
After training for several years in a stable, and gaining some impressive yet small victories in Sumo, he confidently brought the style back to his land. His fellow bulls were intrigued by this approach and learned too see just how effective it was with their body types. Boloin's weight added a substantial amount of force and power to his movements and he quickly was able to plow his way to the top. His goal realized, he went on to represent his tribe in many Brawls to come, being an outstanding competitor and even netting a few wins for his kind, even against other sumo practitioners that attended The Brawl.
His competitive mindset continued to keep him in the game, and he was a crowd favorite for his respectful and honorable demeanor despite his high amount of pride. Perhaps one day, he'll take his skills against fighters even further from his homeland...
Sumo lad. Was going to be done eventually looool
