I decided to do a project where I try to create an entire pokedex of fakemon using only ai generated ideas. I am redrawing my favourites from the ai generated results and figuring out how they work as a full 3D creature and practicing my pokemon style drawing and shading.
I am starting with a buncha cute baby pokemon as options for starters for this ai generated gen. This is one of those baby fakemon. The top right shows the ai generated image, the big image in the middle shows the pokemon in full detail from the best angle like pokemon concept art, the left shows some simpler doodles to show other angles which may be needed to better understand the 3D shape and the right under the ai generated image shows the colour palette I used (not counting extra colours used for shading). Every fakemon in this series will be done with way. Also I will draw a lot more than I will end up using. I am still in the figuring out stage.
This one is a strange alien-like little guy but one of my favs. He is a jellyfish style fakemon with glowing edges like deep sea jellyfish and jewel eyes. A magical water type. maybe psychic type. It can change the transparency of its body at will and only reveals its full self to ones it trusts. They are very shy and quiet and like to hide in dark places. They like to communicate with each other by glowing. Not got a name for them yet so feel free to give suggestions. :3
I wasn't sure how to show the back of this pokemon since the cape thing covers most of the back so I made 2 different layers to show the cape and the back without the cape but this means I needed to save 2 different versions so this is the one without the cape. See below for the one with the cape back shown.
