An Easter Hypno Story

Just on the outskirts of Loliguia Town, the region’s beloved rabbit heroine, Cutey Punny, has confronted two bothersome miscreants. A Poliwrath with a metal fist for a right hand was staring intensely at her. Sitting on top of the water-type’s head was the second scoundrel – a Horsea wearing a pair of high-tech-looking goggles.

“Your problematic plot to plunder has been cancelled due to a call from justice!” Cutey Punny boldly declared, pointing her sabre at the villainous duo.

The Poliwrath growled and charged at her. “If you come for the party, then try out the PUNCH!” he bellowed, swinging his metallic fist at Cutey Punny.

Cutey Punny leaped into the air, evading the Poliwrath’s attack, which ended up creating a large, fist-shaped hole in the ground. The Horsea immediately fired off a bombardment of Water Gun at the airborne bunny. Cutey Punny managed to easily deflect each of them with her sabre before landing a safe distance away.

“Pow Packer! Killer Kelloggi! The final curtain is about to come down on your duet of villainy!” The hammy heroine announced, raising her weapon into the air.

The sabre started to gather up electrical energy from Cutey Punny transferring her Shock Wave into it. With sweat running down his face, Pow Packer grabbed his tiny partner-in-crime with his normal hand, holding him like a gun. He squeezed Killer Kelloggi, making him fire off another barrage of rapid-fire Water Gun. Cutey Punny swung her sabre, unleashing an electric-powered wave of energy at them. It cut through the pellets of water like they were paper and struck the two bad guys.

“Arrgggghhhh!” the criminals cried in pain.

Pow Packer collapsed to the ground, his body smoking and twitching. Despite being knocked out, he was keeping a firm grip on Killer Kelloggi. His Horsea partner tried his hardest to remain conscious but ultimately succumbed to his super-effective injuries. Cutey Punny let out a sigh as she approached the defeated villains. Her wide, heroic smile had downgraded into an annoyed frown.

“Why do I keep on saying such crummy dialogue? It’s getting to be really embarrassing,” Cutey Punny commented, dropping out of her superhero persona. She scooped up Pow Packer, placing him over her shoulder. “If I am quick, I can drop off these goons at the local police station and still make the Easter sales.”

“Happy Easter!” a jolly voice called out to Cutey Punny.

Swirling around Cutey Punny saw an Azumarill skipping down the path in her direction. They were holding a wicker basket full of different coloured easter eggs. As the Azumarill got closer, it took out one of the eggs in preparation to hand it out to Cutey Punny. There was a wide smile stretched across the water rabbit’s mug, almost to an unnatural degree. Even though she was creeped out by the Azumarill’s off-putting expression, Cutey Punny tried to put her best smile; the one she uses whenever she had to address the public.

“Happy Easter!” Azumarill once again exclaimed, holding out the oval-shaped treat. “With a smile and a hop, I will give out a yummy easter delight!”

“Thank you, citizen, for your generosity, but these foul fiends’ imprisonment comes first,” Cutey Punny responded, saluting the Azumarill with her free hand. “You are doing the community a good service. Keep up the good work!”

“Wait a minute! You can’t be involving yourself with criminals! You’re a rabbit like me!” the Azumarill stated, their wide smile fading slightly. She put away the egg she was offering and took out another egg. “Us rabbits should be handing out Easter eggs to one and all!”

Cutey Punny gazed at the new egg, discovering that it wasn’t a chocolate egg at all. It was something shaped very similar to an egg, but it was metallic looking and had an insignia of a smiling Buneary head on it. On closer inspection, she noticed that the eyes of the Buneary had began to let off a faint glow.

“Now what kind of egg is tha -?”

Cutey Punny was cut off when beams fired from the eyes and into hers. She let out a gasp and stumbled backwards, accidently dropping Pow Packer like a sack of potatoes. Fortunately, the criminal’s sudden appointment with the hard path did not wake him up. The broad, abnormal smile had returned to Azumaril’s face while she steadily advanced on the stunned heroine.

“Let us hop to it, fellow Easter Bunny!” They joyfully declared, replacing the weird silver egg back into their basket. “Remember our motto! With a smile and a hop, I will give out a yummy easter delight!”

For a few moments, there was no response from the Lopunny heroine. She had since stopped aimlessly stumbling around and was now standing completely still, head bowed. After a couple more moments passed, she eventually looked up. A large smile matching that of the Azumarill was present on her face and her eyes were full of swirling pink spirals. The words the Azumarill told her to proudly proclaim with a wide smile were endlessly echoing throughout her enthralled mind.

“With a smile and a hop, I will give out a yummy easter delight!” Cutey Punny merrily exclaimed, following it up with a loud giggle.

In the town of Loliguia, the inhabitants were all walking around, partaking in their usual daily routines. While most of them kept to themselves, a few of them had their eyes peeled on a Pokémon skipping around the town. The Raboot that had grabbed the attention of those curious onlookers was carrying a basket of easter eggs on his arm. Even though their mouth was covered up with its balaclava, there was no doubt it was hiding a big smile full of passionate joy.

The Raboot took out an egg decorated with black and white stripes to a Zebstrika sitting on a bench. They didn’t seem to care that they had destroyed the zebra Pokemon’s newspaper in the process. Zebstrika glared through the hole in their newspaper at the Scorbunny hopping away.

“With a smile and a hop, I will give out a yummy Easter delight!” Raboot said in a singsong tone of voice.

“Hello Easter Raboot!” a voice called over to the fire-type bunny.

Azumarill hopped over to them, waving with one hand, and carrying their near-empty basket with the other. Cutey Punny was accompanying them, skipping by their side carrying her own basket of colourful eggs.

“Hello, Easter Azumarill!” Raboot greeted them, waving at the two with their ear. “I see you are with Easter Lopunny! Hello to you, too, my fellow bunny! Ready to give out eggs with a hop and a smile?”

Cutey Punny, now going by Easter Lopunny, nodded in response. “I sure am, my Easter-Loving bunny friend!” she said, showing off her multi-coloured, mouth-watering supplies. “I think I will give some to those nice Pokémon over at the construction site over there!”

The brainwashed heroine made her way over to the construction site. She was instantly greeted by catcalls from the workers high up from the scaffolding due to her sex appeal. Taking a large collection of her eggs from the basket, she juggled them for a few seconds before lobbing them at the workers above her. However, none of them were expecting such a thoughtful gift so the eggs ended up smacking right into their faces. Easter Lopunny happily bounced away to another part of the site, ignoring the screams of the workers as they fell off from the scaffolding.

“With a smile and a hop, I will give out a yummy Easter delight!” she chanted without a care in the world.

“Hey, babe! How about you come over here and sit on my lap?” a Diggersby worker sitting on a nearby concreate block shouted over to her. He took a quick munch of his sandwich to finish it off. “Hurry it up. My lunch break is about to end!”

Upon catching sight of another rabbit Pokémon, Easter Lopunny was so overjoyed that she leaped over to him in a single hop. She pressed her face up against his, making sure the only part of her he could she was her beaming face.

“Why are you wasting your time doing heavy labour, my good friend? Bunnies like us should be out delivering eggs to one and all!” she informed him before she gave him a little breathing space.

Easter Lopunny dug her paw into her basket to take out a familiar shiny silver egg-shaped object. The Diggersby scratched the side of his beard in confusion, unsure how to react to the Lopunny’s odd behaviour. She held out the item in front of her as the eyes of the Buneary logo started to glow.

It was late evening by the time the Easter Bunnies left Loliguia Town. Leading the group was Easter Azumarill who, despite having no more eggs, was still just as blissful as before. Easter Raboot and Easter Lopunny were following behind, each of them having a small number of easter eggs remaining between them. Following them all was a new member of the Easter brigade – a Diggersby who had the most eggs left.

“Onwards to the next town!” Azumarill instructed, pointing to the north.

“With a smile and a hop, I will give out a yummy Easter delight!” They are announced in perfect unison.

Up ahead, Pow Packer, and Killer Kelloggi were just regaining consciousness. Their bodies were still aching from their encounter with Cutey Punny. The Poliwrath was about to get to his feet when Killer Kelloggi began to hop up and down, a look of panic on his face. Looking behind him, Pow Packer saw the source of his partner’s fear. Cutey Punny was in the distance, skipping closer and closer to them.

“Pow, that meddling long-eared freak is coming this way!” The Horsea cried in distress, bouncing around the Poliwrath as if he was hyped up on sugar. “What are we going to do! My mouth is still sore from earlier!”

Pow Packer growled and picked up Killer Kelloggi by his head. “Cool yourself, you puny little punk! We aren’t ready to throw in the towel just yet!” he yelled in the Horsea’s face. “None of us are quitters! We can go another round with that scrawny rookie!”

“Hey there, you two!” Cutey Punny, who was now right behind them, exclaimed.

Both villains froze up, their eyes widening. The two gulped and slowly turned around to face the heroine. Cutey Punny looked at them with an unusually wide smile. As she reached for her basket, the bad guys quickly shut their eyes, expecting the heroine to deliver a finishing blow to the pair of them.

“Here are my last two eggs!” Easter Lopunny told them, holding out two big easter eggs, one in each hand.

Pow Packer was the first to open his eyes just in time to witness one of the eggs being placed on his head. Easter Lopunny then proceeded to carefully insert the other egg into Killer Kelloggi’s mouth. She giggled and continued to skip down the path. The other Easter Bunnies waved at the villains before following their companion.

Pow Packer and Killer Kelloggi stared at each other in disbelief, none of them able to comprehend what just happened.
