Been a good while since I've gotten a sequence, but I gotta thank
chubbywolfie for the hard work he put in on this! Really love how it all came out with my big Roc self here. I do put on a presence, don't I? But seriously, thanks again for this, Maxi! And don't forget to check him out, readers, on his FA or Twitter page! Last I recall, he told me he is always open for comms, so consider getting a pic from him sometime! But anyways, I put together a little short story for this in 2 parts. Hope you all enjoy it and have a wonderful day!
It was a simple Spring day out in the forest of Nasurah. As always, things appeared to be tame around the western part of these thick woods, teeming with somewhat small wild 'Mons such as Bunearies, Ratattas, and more that are mid-sized. It's usually a place where predators would either go to hunt for a free snack, knowing they will be brought back later, or for those that want to take a stroll around with the possibility of bumping into a hungry 'Mon. Such is the way life flows around here given that spirits are often recycled or brought back to life swiftly with the existence of a couple certain demons, the abilities a person may posses, or through other means. However, word is that someone around these parts is causing a bit more hassle than need be by not coughing up the spirits of those eaten and Justin - known around these parts to be quite a capable Mew - decides to investigate this matter. Although people know him to be a Mew, he wanted to be a bit more covert and used a form most may not always see himself in: A Midnight Lycanroc, which was his original form prior to his awakening as a Mew. Surely he can find out what's up in due time...
Upon getting deeper into the western parts, Justin felt the flow of spirits to be waning a little bit. Around this land, it is known for stray souls and spirits to be present at almost all times, but rarely do they ever flow into the city. He doesn't know the full reason why so many spirits are around an area so small to begin with compared to the rest of the world, but that hardly matters to him right now. He definitely felt something was off once he noticed a tree with a few good gashes upon it. Giving it a closer look, it was a fresh cut and it gave the Roc a scent to track. His target in question was...an Absol? Odd that he got that sort of scent, given these Pokemon are known for alerting others of disasters, but causing a small one like this? What could drive them to do this?
These thoughts swam through his head for a moment, but he snapped out of it once he heard the grass be pressed down near him. A step from behind and a small growl caused him to turn around quickly, but only to be pounced by the one he just thought about: An Absol! But this one appeared to be a bit more beaten up than the ordinary kind, noted by the damaged horn they have...and a somewhat round gut softly glowing. His ears perked as he noticed how the 'Sol did nothing but growl at him, pinning his arms down with both paws. Seems like Justin walked in on it's newly marked territory as he saw their head slowly rear up to the right. Knowing what's to come, Justin immediately rolled himself to the side and took the 'Sol with him, kicking them off shortly after. His target rolled onto his feet, glaring back up at the rather pudgy Lycanroc as he got to his feet. He questioned what they were doing, wanting an answer. Yet, nothing but a mad dash, horn first, was coming at him with a Slash. A poor choice as Justin immediately used an arm to block the blow and toss them back against the tree he looked at before, countering them in the process. Although hurt more than need be, the 'Sol wasn't about to give up on it's territory easily, but they didn't anticipate the Roc to make a follow up with a swift gut check against the tree. Their head was bashed into it and caused the horn to crack more at the part of their head.
Justin had hoped this would stop them, but he got slashed away from a Shadow Claw to his chest. Flinching from the blow, the 'Sol followed up with charging at him, but turning around to swipe him with an Iron Tail. Although he got hit with this, it looked like he slowed down all of a sudden, as if entering a slow-motion state. What this wild 'Mon didn't detect was how quick he can adapt to an incoming attack. Before they knew it, his body dissipated before them and appeared to their left, holding a large rock pulled from nearby over their head. Using Stone Edge, Justin was able to deliver a swift blow down onto their head and sent them smacking into the ground, snapping off their horn in the process. The battle came to a close as Justin stood up over them, huffing a little out of breath. The 'Sol groaned, not fainted, but definitely has no energy left to fight.
Once more, Justin asks what they were doing with the spirits around this land. Given no choice but to answer him, they explain how they were driven away from their pack and fled to Nasurah, wanting to find a way to get back at them for driving a "weakling" like them out and usurp the pack leader. Justin did forget there was still 'Mons out there who haven't adapted to how this land has changed over time, thus still having normal looking Absol in one part of the land while more humanoid or "anthros" appear around in more civilized areas. This land is mixed, but Justin questioned what sought them to eat the spirits, pointing to their shining and protruding belly below them. They explained how they head of a rumor that the spirits of this land grant those immense strength should enough be gathered, wanting to use such power for themselves and then release them later...if they didn't forget. A little bit of poor choice of words as Justin sighed, shaking his head. He couldn't let this sort of idea slide, telling them all they would get is nothing from this as the spirits aren't mindless orbs to be had at any time. They were still individuals that are to help keep this land in check, to ensure others could still have a life once eaten. The 'Sol simply huffs at him, thinking his words as mere rubbish compared to what they believed.
Looking off to the side, Justin felt like he wasn't getting anywhere with them and told them this once: "As I said, it just wouldn't work with you given how forceful you are. I'd suggest leaving here now and finding a different path in how you want to approach them. Cause vengeance doesn't work out the way you'd hope for. It might backfire and get you killed". Once more, they scoffed at his idea before looking at the busted horn. Noticing how ignorant they were being, Justin knew he couldn't just leave them be now. If that was how they were going to be, then he had one idea in mind that came to him from the more malice driven part of his mind. And it would be quite a way to help sate his newly worked up appetite as the 'Sol could hear a light growl from above.
They were suddenly picked up by the 'Roc and gazed at his gaping maw, suddenly being filled with dread at the thought of being turned into a meal. He shoved them head first down his mouth, sending it right down his gullet as it formed a bulge shaped almost like their head. Their legs kicked wildly, trying to kick off of his pudgy paunch below him, but he kept a firm grip on their upper limbs to avoid any additional force. Gradually, Justin worked down his latest meal, thinking how this is the first time he's really eaten an Absol. They aren't known to be around Nasurah period, but only heard of their existence. But the thought perished upon feeling the 'Sol grace his belly from within, forming a bulge along the cream colored fur outside of it. A soft shudder came off of him as his more predatory aspects hit him like a freight train, hearing his gut groan as he took more gulps to pack them away in him. The heavier he felt his gut grew, the louder it became with those audible groans and gurgles going on within. Soon enough, he was just pushing in their clawed feet and having them sink past his muzzle, snapping it shut to seal them away inside his swollen belly. Past the throat and over the esophagus, the 'Roc let out a sigh in content as he looked at the busted horn he managed to break off on the grass beneath him. Using what little psychic powers he has in this form, he managed to float it up to his right paw and took a firm hold of it, examining it. He'd rest his thick rump against the scarred tree the 'Sol previously marked, wanting to relax as he felt them weakly kick and claw around inside his churning gut to no avail. Squishing a claw into that thick dough of his, the 'Roc snickered before coming up with a cheesy insult to use against them: "For someone that senses danger, you missed one: This gut of mine!~" He gave it a good slap as it wobbled in his lap, groaning heavily under the captive 'Sol.
Thinking this was a good of a time as any, Justin reclined carefully against the tree and laid down, deciding to let his bested foe to bake in his grumbling acids until there was nothing but their spirit left. By then, he could use that trick Soul taught him to belch out the spirits eaten by the 'Sol and restore that disturbed balance that was felt. Now having a prize for eating someone for the first time, Justin hid the horn in his rocky mane and decided to let out a content belch afterwards, squeezing his gut with both claws. He growled in quite a way that mimicked a purr from a cat, closing his eyes to nap off the Dark type for the time being. It felt like things would be fine once he'd later wake up, but perhaps the aftermath might impact him more than he thinks~
