Actually not ominous but sad....
Forgotten in god forsaken place, without anyone to remember or visit. Well I guess it could be his own grave since he is a vampire
He could have like a kind of dampir to heal himself after a wounds or just to be hidden from the sunlight
Still very nice and even great atmosphere
Always had a weak spot for some dark and grim looking places
They definitely have their own charm
