There's something rather unique about a story that was going to be about a trend in online games called FOMO (or Fear of Missing Out) for seasonal or battle pass systems that try to force long term engagement. But this is honestly the first scrapped story that wasn't just from running out of time to make the concept. To keep it simple, the work demand this week had me in a position where i spent at most 4 hours on sleep every night for the past 5 nights, combined with working long hour shifts almost every day. This has resulted in a scrapped story that I wrote as much in an exhausted state as a semi lucid state as i was falling asleep at my desk. So if there is anything cohesive about it, I will be generally really impressed.

This has, however, left me with the first story in scraps I plan to revisit as a full story down the line as i was simply too tired to make meaningful progress during the time limit.

Here's hoping the stories improve going forward.

For May 5th, the writing prompt was 'Four Seasons - The changes that occur throughout the year' and the theme was 'Requirement'.
