Its been a while, but
is back posting more recipes for our group!******************************
Now my pickles are kind of a throw it together and see what works but this batch I made them dill pickles and two of them are spicy
Ingredients I used
16 medium Boston pickling cucumbers (fresh from the garden)
1/2 cup dehydrated dill
1/8 cup salt
As for the brine I went 3/4 water 1/4 vinegar
1 with the cucumbers in the jars I filled the jar one quarter of the way with vinegar and the rest with water
2 then dump the fluid into a large pot combining the salt pickling spices (to taste) and the dill
3 bring to a boil and pour over the cucumbers in the jars
4 clean the rim and close the lids then water canning them
