Yoshi woke up and looked at the bed in surprise. The tiger's bed was literally littered with gifts from fans. The big cat began to look at them, not noticing that he was being hugged from behind by someone's paws.
"Beloved, happy birthday!"
Tiger turned around and saw his husband, a tiger just like him, smiling sweetly at his protector.
"'Ryekie? Where did all this come from?"
Ryekie smiled even wider.
"Your fans brought this while you were sleeping."
Yoshi looked embarrassed.
"Oh, that's so sweet..."
Ryekie kissed his lover on the cheek and then turned him around to face him. The couple's eyes met, and Yoshi hung around his husband's neck with a joyful meow.
"My love, you... You wore that suit for me?"
Ryekie dressed in the superhero costume given to him by his husband, nodded.
"It's your birthday, Yoshi, and I couldn't help but give you a surprise like this."
The tigers hugged even tighter. Yoshi began to kiss his protector's chest with a smile.
"Ry, I want you to play superheroes with me. Please..."
And the tiger made pleading eyes. Ryekie hugged Yoshi, stroking his head.
"Of course, love. I'll also take you to the cafe where we once met."
