"You knew perfectly well that all this would end like this, so don't complain." Said Andorra, and with a big smile she handed Mark a small foxtaur-like kitten.
Mark held little Ariadne in his arms and looked at hir parents.
"We'll be back in a couple of hours." Said Star.
"My lady." Said Star, extending hir elbow to well-dressed Andorra.
"Oh, my gallant gentleman..." Smiled the woman, after which Andora took her partner's underarm and they gracefully left the house for a walk.
"She hasn't changed at all." Mark thought as Andora stopped in the doorway, after which she turned to look at the man and closed one eye, she showed him her tongue.

"Mammy..." Asked Ariadne, looking at Mark's face.
"No, I'm not your mother. Although it looks like I put ...a hand in your appearance in this world as well.
Oh, it's a little complicated, so don't pay attention to my words..." Said the man, looking at the kitten's confused face.
Ariadne thought about something for a few more seconds, then repeated.
"Mommy!" Grabbing Mark's shirt with hir small hands with small - but sharp claws.
"Okay, okay. As you wish." Sighed Mark, touching the tip of his finger to the kitten's small nose, which caused Ariadne to sneeze.

"Okay, now we're going to watch a movie about big fishes and lots of fun colorful tentacles!" Said Mark.
"Fishes!" Ariadne giggled as Mark carried hir into the living room.

In the end, Andorra and Star unconditionally trust their daughter to Mark, knowing that the man will spend the next few hours sitting on the sofa in front of the TV with a kitten on his lap, watching some nature programs from Earth.
The bright flickering colors and sharp picture on the big screen had an almost hypnotic effect on Ariadne, making hir sit still and stare open-mouthed, even as Mark fell asleep sometimes.
In addition, the small restless troublemaker Ariadne, by some unknown miracle calmly sat on the man's lap, not even trying to run away.

Also please note that my story is in the process of being written, and most of these small fragments that I published are not in chronological order.
(Chronology always was a real pain for me.) So when I finish my plans I will try to put everything in order. If I can...
