Nothing says fall indulgence quite like apple cider donuts! Faisan had planned to take a long waddle to enjoy the fall colors, but that was before he saw the nature center had a fall fundraiser with plenty of donuts and fresh apple cider. A few boxes later, and the pheasant figured he might as well just find a few hay bales wide enough for him to settle onto and finish off the last of those delicious, deep-fried treats. The only hard part is getting back up after, but perhaps that's just inviting a nice afternoon nap atop a makeshift hay mattress?
