You were tasked with conducting undercover work to assess the capabilities of the Middle Eastern Coalition forces by gathering significant information by means of observation, reading, and collecting documents that may indicate their strength in terms of sheer number, technologies, and asset size.
You were ordered to station at a [redacted] base with the coordinates [redacted] in the Ahmar Desert region before going out to the arid desert wearing robes and sandals. In addition, your fur is dyed with yellow pigment, as are your blue iris contact lenses, to blend in with the locals.
After days of infiltration work, you arrived at your underground base, hauling a sack of documents you received. Ready to be scanned as a.pdf file with secure encryption before wirelessly transferring it via satellite. As soon as you put the documents in the fast automatic document scanner, you remember that you forgot to close the "door" to the basement, although the door itself is just a pile of rocks and bushes that cover the entrance.
You walk along the dark and cold tunnel leading outside of the basement. A ray of light can be seen coming out of the end of the tunnel, indicating the entrance is still not closed as you head towards it.
The closer you get to the end of the tunnel, the less the light glares. Slowly make out the shape and colour of the desert hills and sky. Your eyes are adjusting to the bright surroundings.
As you came out of the tunnel, out of nowhere, two yellow figures stepped in front of you. You are shocked. They are your enemies. Coming out from nowhere without making any footsteps.
Looking at those two vulpines, you know you have seen them before, or at least read about them. The captain, who wears the red scarf, demands that you return the stolen documents to them. However, you refused, subsequently making them dissatisfied. You have no choice but to fight both of them. Even the odds are against you.
Captain Lishi orders his righteous man to execute you by casting a water spell on your head in an attempt to drown you to death. You are surprised that the taller guy in a tight rubber suit can cast blobs of water from nowhere in the dry desert. Which are nearly impossible to do. Several blobs of water are floating and circling around Ruba, ready to strike you at any moment.
You could try running away if you are fast enough to avoid the spell and the two foxes there. The maximum running speed of Ruba is 140 km/h; with his aerodynamic rubber suit, he could achieve more than that. The shorter Lishi could top 120 km/h, but he can do that from zero in 2 seconds.
If you are a water-breathing being, you could survive Ruba's drowning attempt. If there is a river nearby, you can easily escape once you are in the water. Provided that you are far enough from his power to influence the surrounding water. They will never catch you if you are underwater.
Lishi may not seem to show his power, but he is also proficient in his water-bending skill. Not as much as a companion. But what he specialises in is his sword skills. A common trait among his species. Compared to Ruba, he is more brutal. Ruba may not drown you to death. Lishi, on the other hand, will not hesitate to kill you.
The choice is yours. Your faction and leader count on you. The information you gathered can turn the tide of the upcoming war.
This drawing are inspire by Ultraman series which i watched a lot when i was a kid. I like the design of earth defense force uniform, so the shirt Lishi are wearing are designed from it. For Ruba, he is the Ultraman. With the light on his chest that will goes blinking once he is out of power. Although his suit are not final. I may redesign it again in the future.
