Outside the Osamu Tezuka Manga Museum in the city of Takarazuka (near Osaka), there's statue of Tezuka's anime and manga character 'Hi no Tori' (Phoenix).

Twenty-four years on, and both the amusement park and zoo that used to be nearby have gone, but the Phoenix stands strong!
