This is amazing. I can feel the roar of the river rushing white & it's depth & the momentum being struggled against by the dragon & fishes both. This is breathtaking. I can't get over how lovingly you render huge, alien & fantastical anatomies we can only speculate on like dragons & dinosaurs & the like, & yet so intimately detail out more humanoid subjects with myriad individual bodies. Axe is one of the thickest, meatiest, most feral designs I know out there & you kept it faithful to their shape while putting them into such a nuanced & animated scene. I feel sympathetic shrugs in my shoulder how this dive they're taking is about to go, bracing myself for the wet cold shove they'd have to dive through to catch up to the lil monster fish & how exhaustive it's struggles been to go up stream as is. So much subtlety you managed to get down on paper, with foresight & care & for it to come out looking so coehsive & clean without all the scaffolding & sketchy blot outs I've gotten used to seeing in my work I'm just out of my mind loving this.
