'A wash of satin petals wake her into her dream, wearing her hope upon their fragile lifted sails as they guide her deeper into her waiting heart. What does she wonder at as she slumbers beneath the cascading blooms? Does she know how sublimely she does bloom? Or how bold her light lifts up the cloak of night to peer into the sanguine dawn beyond? May she then know that the blooms are merely harbingers of what she may be, that she may dare to wake to them; To see her resplendent dreams woven upon her in satin petals of a secret heart.'

This is a more loose piece than most for me. In truth, this is actually a quite old sketch. I was sifting through unfinished loose sketches, trying to clear out some clutter, and came across one I instantly recalled with a vivid flash. The original sketch was actually quite inspired by
AlectorFencer. Her work is a constant source of inspiration to me and a reminder to stay on course and stay true to my heart in my art. This is something she never seems to falter with, her vision is consistently bold and blazing with soul and life. Thank you! This is the way I see your heart, someone ever blooming and if I may hope for one thing is that you wake to see your own blooms.
I do not think it would be entirely fair to call this gift art as it came to be driven by selfish motivation as well, but as I painted it, it came to mean something more intimate to me and if I may, I would like to dedicate it to you Alector and to my beloved
Bagheera whom, with each new day, in turn, teaches me to bloom and nurtures that bloom so it may never wither. Thank you both for your guiding inspiration in the driving parts of my life.

I am simply breathless...I love how the flowers are a part of her, and waht they symbolize...dreams. It's kind of...that idea that she is a living being, and those dreams are alive because of her. They are a part of her, and yet those petals and those seeds can reach beyond her and touch others. Absolutely lovely. <3
absolutely stunning work ma'am. the gentle shadows and blooms really give her a motherly sort of feel...as if she's Mother Nature herself dreaming, refreshing herself as the sun rises and comes to awaken her from a night of rest from the day. when i first looked over this whole piece, i could almost smell a rose just by the words you used to describe the piece.
truly a wonderful and beautiful work you've done. this would look amazing as a large poster or print framed on a wall.
again, powerful and stunning work.

Amazing work as always, this has to be one of my favorite pieces from you, art-wise. I love the texture and how soft the light and colors look. I also love how you call this a loose piece, while to me it looks incredibly detailed ;) I love all your 'loose pieces', they have so much life in them!
I can't believe this piece skipped my radar. It really is absolutely stunning. I love the softness of all of it and the gentle contrast of the colours. The fact then when you look at it you just want to smile with her too.
On a more technical note I really enjoy the texture you have created on the floor with the crack on the ground. It really brings something to the piece. It reminds me of some old masters painting and it should be on some huge canvas somewhere :3

Incredible, simply beautiful and worth more then a thousand words. Usually when I come across art pieces they are ether good, great, or outstanding. This is a masterpiece though, and has meaning behind it. When looking at this, music plays in my head... violins mostly that goes with this beautiful work.
The character is posed in a position that captures the moment for me, that expression of smiling, the flowers on her chest... plus, the art style is superb. I'm loving everything about this, so grand and amazing all around I can't begin to describe how truly fantastic it is. Very well done indeed
Reading the artistcomment under the picture is really touching and even generates motivation, cause your words are so true. The picture is a really beautiful one. I have always like it and for a long time, this has been the picture I got in mind when hearing your name. The effects, colors and details are great and greater and the happy and sadisfied facial expression gives the picture a happy tone, which is just great.
Keep up the awesome work and stay true to your heart, just as you have said. Your artwork is far beyond awesome and I am sure that your heart won't fool you.

One of my favorites with high realism and human attractiveness, and no visible naughty bit detracting from the serenity. I love seeing things like paw pads interpreted for hands. The fur is amazing, visibly flowing in different primary directions based on where it's at on the body, but also with an inconsistency rarely ever seen. The ears and facial expression really do display the happiness experienced in the dream. The texture and curl of the petals is also beautiful. And it doesn't stop there, detailed all the way down to the stone work having an unpredictable looking crack running through it.
