I'm gonna be honest y'all, this chapter took way longer to finish than I intended. I apologize for the long wait.
[Edit]: I am terribly sorry again, everyone. I did not realize the chapter itself wasn't pasted into the description up until now. I could've sworn I did when I first posted this. Who knows what happened.
Chapter 1 - Welcome Home
The morning sun slowly rose over the Overworld, shining its orange, dawn light. The cries of dying zombies and skeletons fill the air as they burn to death. It was a perfect, breezy day for Kevin to get some deals. Kevin was a wandering trader who has been to many places around the world. He goes from place to place, selling various exotic items to make some money. Despite how honest and good his trades are, many people don’t usually buy his items because he is often suspected to be a scammer. Despite how difficult Kevin’s career was, he still stuck with it not only to travel, but to prove the world they were wrong about wandering traders. Kevin often traveled with his two pet llamas, Floof and Wayfinder, which were Kevin’s only companions since the start of his career. Even though Kevin is considered to be very lonely, he still appreciates the company that his llamas give him, even through the hardest times.
Today was expected to hopefully be very different for Kevin and the llamas as they arrived at the outskirts of Santa Malta, the famous village in Nautilus Cove known for its great battle that took place during the first Villager vs Illager war. Kevin breathed in the salty air through his nose and exhaled as he stared at the village up ahead. The wind blew calmly towards the land.
“Welp, here we are guys. Nautilus Cove.” Kevin said. Just then, the wind began to blow a bit stronger and change directions. Some of the leaves from the nearby trees could be seen being carried by the wind and swirling around in the sky. “Huh?” Kevin said, confused. A few seconds later, sparks of energy could be seen zapping and flashing around a growing ball of light in the sky. The space around the ball could be seen rippling as it grew. Suddenly, the ball burst into a blinding flash of light. When the flash faded away, Kevin looked up and gasped when he saw a giant quantum rift up above that revealed a twilight portal swirling inside. At the same time, five more balls of light were then shot out of the rift that fell and crashed around different parts of the cove, two of which were near the village. A few seconds later, the rift closed and disappeared. Kevin hurried over to the crash site outside of the village, where he was met with a small crater. Floof and Wayfinder began to grow anxious and tugged on Kevin’s leads. “Easy, guys. Easy.” Kevin told them. He then slowly approached the crater and when he looked inside, he found what looked to be a dragon-like humanoid figure lying in the crater, wearing a suit of molten-looking armor. The material that the armor was made out of looked very otherworldly. “What the?” Kevin mumbled. He slowly approached the dragon and tapped on her shoulder to see if she was alive, but no response
“Hey! You over there!” a voice shouted from afar. Kevin looked up and saw two villager guards and an iron golem approaching him from the village. “Are you alright?” one of the guards shouted.
“Hey, come quick! I found something!” Kevin shouted back.
{Young Envy: “Mommy.”
Endora: “Yes sweetie?”
Young Envy: “That cwown on youw head, where did you get it?”
Endora: My child, this crown is very special. Legends say that this crown used to be worn by the Empress of Shadow.”
Young Envy: “The Empwess of Shadow?”
Endora: “Yes. She was a very powerful goddess said to control all of the shadows."
Young Envy: “Have you met her befowe?”
Endora: *her smile fades away into a blank expression* “...”
Young Envy: “...Mommy?...”
Endora: *a bloody tear drips from her eye*
[The floor below them then gives way down to a fiery pit. As Envy hits the ground, she instantly transitions to her adult form.]
Envy: *gets up and finds herself surrounded by flames* ; *looks to the right and finds her mother with a glowing red blade stabbed through her chest* “Mom!!”
Endora: *collapses and turns to dust as soon as the knife is pulled out of her chest*
[A hooded figure can be seen standing in the spot behind Endora, holding the knife.]
Hooded Figure: *stares at Envy with a wicked red smile and then slides his thumb across his throat*
Envy: *trembles in fear and flies away, but then is hit by chunks of falling debris from above* ; *crashes to the ground*
[A silhouette of a man then stops in front of Envy.]
Envy: *looks up and sees Dr. Pederin looking down at her*
Dr. Pederin: “Like I said, Envy. I’m not the one responsible for this crime. He is.” *points at the hooded figure*
Envy: *looks in the direction Pederin is pointing in only to find nothing there* ; *looks back and notices Pederin is gone too*
[The ground suddenly begins to shake violently.]
Envy: *turns around and sees the Wall of Flesh approaching her at high speed before blacking out*}
Envy jolted awake in fear and panted frantically, but eventually calmed down. She then let out a sigh of relief.
“Just another nightmare…” she said to herself. As she looked down, she noticed that she was in a bed wearing a hospital gown and that her molten armor was gone. “What the?” As she said this, she then remembered Dr. Pederin, the Wall of Flesh, everything. She then looked around and found herself in some kind of hospital room with no windows. On the right however, was a door. Envy got up from the bed and as she walked out the door into a hallway, she bumped right into a doctor who was busy looking at a clipboard.
“Oh pardon me. I was just-” the doctor excused before actually looking up at who he actually bumped into. When Envy looked down at the doctor, she froze as she noticed his big nose. He was a villager. As the doctor continued to stare at Envy, he first noticed the runes dancing across her horns, and then when he shifted his gaze back to her face, he gasped as if he somehow recognized her. Envy began to grow uncomfortable by this. “I…It’s you!” the doctor muttered softly. Envy tilted her head in confusion.
“H…Huh?” she replied
“Hey, you’re awake!” a female voice suddenly spoke. Envy looked up and saw another villager down the hall. This one however, appeared to be a nurse.
“Awake,” she asked, anxious and confused, “Wait, what are you talking about? Wh…What’s going on here? Who are you people? Where am I??”
“Hey, easy! Calm down,” the nurse said as she approached Envy, “It’s ok. You’re in Gura Hospital. I’m Ms. Palpa Mikon, your nurse. A wandering trader found you unconscious right outside our village. He notified nearby village security about you and that’s when we came in. We took you in, did a brief check up on you for any injuries and luckily, we found none.” Envy was slightly more chill now.
“No injuries? Well at least that’s good to hear…” Envy sighed calmly, but then something began swimming around in her head and said, “...Wait…Injuries?…” Envy thought about that word for a few seconds, and then suddenly remembered someone important. “Simon!” she cried.
“Huh?” Palpa and the doctor both replied in confusion.
“My husband, Simon,” Envy cried again, “Is he here??”
“Simon who?” Palpa asked. Envy then sighed and explained,
“He kinda looks like me, except that he is pink and has antennas on the sides of his head.”
“Hmm. I’m sorry, but I’m afraid we don’t have anyone here that matches your description, Mrs…?” Palpa addressed, not knowing her name.
“E-Envy,” Envy sputtered as she began to grow worried, “It’s just Envy…”
“Ms. Envy, right,” Palpa said with not much of a reaction, “It is a pleasure to meet you.”
“We’re actually not officially married yet,” Envy clarified, “He only just proposed to me recently.”
“Oh.” Palpa replied.
“But still, he’s gotta be close by, right?” Envy asked, concerned.
“Ms. Envy, we don’t know where he is,” Palpa answered, “Although we can get someone from village security to send a search party after him.”
“Umm. I don’t mean to be rude and interrupt this conversation,” the doctor suddenly spoke out, “but can I please have a word with you, Ms. Mikon?”
“Dr. Gomez, I’m in the middle of talking to a patient here.” Palpa urged.
“I know, but this is something really important,” Dr. Gomez whispered, “It’s about her.” Palpa looked at Envy for a second and then back at Dr. Gomez. She then sighed and said,
“Fine, go ahead.” Dr. Gomez quickly turned to Envy and said,
“Would you excuse us for a second?” He then turned back to Palpa and began whispering to her again. Envy tried her best to listen to what they were whispering about, but couldn't understand them. She then remembered about Simon. Sure, Sombra, Siss and the others were important too, but right now, he was her top priority. She couldn't afford to lose her true love after she just accepted him to be her mate for life. She knew she needed to escape this hospital in order to find him. Envy looked down the hallway both left and right and then while Dr. Gomez and Palpa were still distracted, she quickly ran away to the right. Palpa noticed this and began to chase after her.
"Hey, where are you going?" She shouted as she ran. Up ahead, Envy could see a doctor coming out of a patient's room and noticed that there was sunlight in there, which meant there was a window. Without hesitation, Envy sprinted over into the room, accidentally shoving the doctor to the floor in the process. The doctor groaned as he held his leg in pain.
"I'm sorry! I'm sorry!" Envy frantically apologized.
"Whoa, what the hell!?" the patient in the room cried. Envy quickly grabbed a nearby chair and threw it at the window, which successfully broke the glass.
"Ms. Envy, stop!" Palpa pleaded as she entered the room. Envy ignored her however, and without hesitation, she jumped out the broken window and soared off into the morning sky. As Envy hovered high above the village, she looked down at the cove below her with a forested land being on the left and an ocean on the right.
“Oh man, I don’t think this is Cthuland anymore.” she muttered to herself as she didn’t recognize the environment. However, the people she just met in the hospital were villagers, judged by their recognizable big noses. Could she be back in her home world? Envy didn’t have time to think though. She needed to find Simon, but the issue was she didn’t know where to look first. Then suddenly, Envy heard a woman's scream cry from below. At first, she thought they were for her, but when she looked down at the center of the village, she could see something pink moving around while being chased by what looked to be an angry villager holding a weapon. Envy swiftly swooped down to the ground to get a closer look, but the pink object burrowed into the ground and popped its head up right in front of her. It was Wart, Simon’s worm companion. Wart then saw Envy and quickly jumped into her arms for safety.
"Envy, help me!" He shouted as he did so.
"Wart?!" Envy cried as her eyes widened. A female villager that was chasing him then stopped in front of Envy, wielding an iron shovel. Wart gasped in fear as he saw her again.
"You gotta help me, Envy," he frantically babbled, "This lady is trying to kill me!"
"Wart, have you seen Simon?" Envy asked.
"No. I don’t know where he is." Wart answered. Envy sighed in depression.
"Excuse me miss, is that thing yours?" The female villager asked.
"Huh?" Envy then said after zoning out. "N…No, he's my husband's."
"Well tell him to take that ugly cat somewhere else please," the female villager demanded rudely, "He nearly messed up my flower garden!"
"Hey! I'm a worm!" Wart barked, feeling offended.
"Yo, what is going on here?" a woman shouted as she approached. The woman was wearing a skull helmet with horns, boney armor, and appeared to be soaking wet.
"Bonnie, it's you!" Envy shouted.
"Envy! Wart!" Bonnie cried as she took off both her bone helm and her necro helmet, revealing her face and wet hair. Envy came over to her and picked her up to hug her. Wart crawled onto Envy’s shoulders as this happened.
"Wait, why are you all wet?" she then noticed while holding her.
“First of all, Envy, can you please put me down?” Bonnie requested. Envy obeyed and put her back down on the ground. “Thank you,” Bonnie replied, “Now secondly, what are you doing in a hospital gown?”
“I…It’s a long story actually…” Envy answered.
“Seriously though, Bonnie,” Wart spoke, “Why are you wet?” Bonnie then explained,
"Well long story short, I woke up in the fricking ocean not far from here for some reason and ended up finding this place as soon as I got to shore." Bonnie then dug into her soggy hair and undid her ponytail, which was drooping. Once she took out the bone hair tie that was holding it together, she waved her hair around until it was all dry. Her hair ended up looking frizzy once she stopped. “By the way, have you seen the others by any chance?” Bonnie then asked as she began retying her ponytail.
“No, Bonnie,” Envy responded, “I was gonna ask you the same thing.” She then sighed again. “I’m just so worried about Simon though. So far, no one I’ve asked here knows where he is.” As Envy hopelessly slumped, Wart looked up and noticed something making him feel quite uncomfortable.
“Umm, girls…” he muttered.
“Not now, Wart. I’m trying to fix my ponytail.” Bonnie said.
“I…I think the whole village is looking at us right now.” Wart mumbled. Bonnie didn’t understand what he just said, however.
“What?” she replied.
“I said, I think the whole village is watching us!” Wart said again, but louder. He was right. When Envy and Bonnie looked around them, they noticed that there were now villagers everywhere, and they were all staring at them.
“Uhh… Envy, why are they just staring at us?” Bonnie asked with her arms frozen in place.
“I-I don’t know, Bonnie,” Envy whispered, “Everyone here has been acting strange so far with me, and I don’t know why.”
“Maybe it’s because they’ve never seen a darkrune ender dragon before,” Bonnie then brought up, “Didn’t think about that, didn’t you?” Before Envy could respond to that statement however, she was startled when she suddenly heard a woman’s voice call out.
“Ms. Envy!” the woman’s voice shouted. Envy turned around and saw Palpa approaching from the crowd, accompanied by two other villagers who appeared to be medical professionals. They stopped once they were at least a few meters away from her. “Ms. Envy please, there’s no reason to be scared of us,” Palpa then spoke to Envy, “We’re only trying to help you.”
“Wait, who are these people?” Wart asked in confusion.
“Envy, what’s going on?” Bonnie asked.
“These guys had me in the hospital here,” Envy explained, “I escaped out of a window in an attempt to find Simon.”
“Wow! You were really that worried about your man?” Bonnie exaggerated, glaring at her as she finished fixing her ponytail. Envy grew triggered by that question.
“Wha-” she stuttered for a brief second before looking at Bonnie and exclaiming, “Of course I was that worried about him Bonnie, he’s my husband! You should know this!”
“Y’all haven’t even been married yet, so he’s not technically your husband yet, Envy.” Bonnie said.
“I know, but still!” Envy replied.
“Also, I wasn’t trying to be mean or anything. I was just saying how crazy it was that you actually broke out of a hospital.” Bonnie noted to her.
“Yet again, I would probably do the same thing if I wanted to find Simon that badly.” Wart blurted out. Bonnie then looked at him as if he was crazy. Wart then proved his point by saying, “What? She has a point. I am his pal, afterall.”
“Dude, you’re insane.” Bonnie said to him.
“Excuse me, but are you two done talking,” Palpa then asked, “I’m trying to speak to Ms. Envy?” Envy then steps in and said,
“Listen, I get it that you people are trying to do your jobs, but I only escaped because…..I just want to find my husband. He’s probably lost and alone, and….and…” As she was struggling to build the rest of her sentence, a tear slowly dripped from her eye. She then looked down as she pouted. Everyone including the villagers stood in silence, until Dr. Gomez arrived and broke the silence by asking,
“Ms. Mikon, you mind if I try to talk to her?”
“Dr. Gomez, please,” Palpa clarified out loud, “I’m trying to do my job here. I don’t care if she’s a hero, you’re not talking to her!” Suddenly, Envy, Bonnie and Wart perked up in response to what they just heard.
“I-I’m sorry, what did you say?” Envy asked, now concerned as she wiped the tears from her eyes. Both Dr. Gomez and Palpa then paused and looked at Envy.
“...I beg your pardon, Ms. Envy?” Palpa responded.
“Did you just say something about me being a hero?” Envy asked.
“...Yes, ma’am,” Palpa answered, “At least that’s what Dr. Gomez keeps telling me.”
“But it’s true, Ms. Mikon,” Dr. Gomez tried to explain, “That’s Envy Endgore, the one dragon from Arkala who single-handedly took on Lord Drax with her friends and ended the war!” Everyone in the crowd then began to mutter to each other.
“Well how do you know that’s her, Doctor,” a villager from the crowd asked, “Because last time I checked when the news spread about the Illager Empire’s capital base being blown to smithereens, the article also read that the heroes you just described were dead.” Another villager from the crowd then corrected him by saying,
“Umm actually, it said that they were only presumed dead.”
“Presumed dead?” Envy said to herself.
“I know that’s her because we’ve actually met in person once.” Dr. Gomez stated. The crowd then looked confused.
“Wait, what?” Envy said.
“Huh?” Bonnie and Wart said after her.
“You don’t remember me, Ms. Envy?” Dr. Gomez asked as he turned to Envy.
“N…No…?” Envy spoke as she shook her head, unsure of her answer.
“It’s me, Dr. Oliver Gomez,” Dr. Gomez explained, “We met when you saved me and my brother from the Illagers back at San Fargo.”
“San Fargo…?” Envy pondered for a bit as that name sounded familiar.
“Wait a minute, Envy,” Bonnie then spoke, “Wasn’t San Fargo that one village we stopped at in the middle of the desert?”
“My brother, Jason was the one that gave you the pickaxe.” Dr. Gomez pointed out. Then suddenly, Envy looked back at Dr. Gomez.
“Oh my god, you’re the one who took care of me when I was injured!” Envy said as she recognized him. The crowd gasped as they realized Dr. Gomez was right.
“Wait, that’s the same guy?” Bonnie asked.
“Yup, that’s me,” Dr. Gomez said, “And you must be the daytime skeleton that was really good with the bow, right? What was your name again?”
“Bonnie, sir.” Bonnie answered.
“Bonnie, right.” Dr. Gomez said. The crowd was then muttering, gossiping things to each other about Envy and Bonnie. Dr. Gomez then noticed Wart, sitting on Envy’s shoulders. “Quick question Envy, what is that thing on your shoulders?”
“Huh? Oh, this is Wart. He’s a worm.” Envy answered.
“Hi!” Wart said as he waved at Dr. Gomez with his tail.
“And it talks, I see…” Dr. Gomez said, a little weirded out by him. “Anyways, Envy, I’d love to continue asking you questions, but just like Ms. Mikon said, we need to take you back to the hospital.” Envy’s smile then went away as she remembered why she was out here in the first place.
“Umm… Well about that…” she said in a nervous way.
“Envy?” Wart spoke, concerned. Suddenly, he lost his grip and fell to the ground as Envy soared off into the sky again.
“Wait, where the hell are you going!?” Bonnie hollered as she watched.
“Dammit, Dr. Gomez! Now look what you did!” Palpa cursed. As Envy hovered above the village, she desperately looked around for something that could give her a clue, and not long after she started, she spotted a small crater on the top of a small mountain outside the village. Envy quickly rushed over to the crash site to get a closer look. Once she landed near the crater, she looked inside it and to her surprise, found Simon lying unconscious in his molten armor.
“Simon!” Envy gasped as she found him. She quickly rushed over to him to see if he was still alive. Right away, she took off his helmet and checked for his pulse on his neck. She couldn’t feel it, however. She tried again, but there was still no pulse. Envy was starting to get worried. “Oh no no no no!” She muttered to herself. Envy knew she had to get him down to the village ASAP. She was getting ready to carry Simon in her arms, until when she lifted Simon’s right leg, Simon suddenly jolted awake and yelled as he held his leg in pain. Envy was frightened by this and jumped away, but then became overrun with joy. “Simon, you’re alive!?” she shrieked as she looked at him. Simon still sat there holding his leg in pain, but got a chance to look up at her.
“E…Envy…?” he groaned.
“Don’t worry, babe. I’m gonna get someone to help you.” Envy told him as she went over to pick him up. Quickly, Envy flew back to the village down below with Simon in her arms. When she landed, the crowd gasped as they saw Simon in her arms.
“Holy shit! You found him!” Bonnie cried.
“Simon!” Wart hollered.
“...Hey, guys…” Simon responded, still in pain.
“Dr. Gomez, he’s hurt!” Envy cried.
“He is?” Dr. Gomez said. He then quickly turned to Palpa and the two medical professionals and ordered for one of them to get a gurney. The two medical professionals then ran in a flash. Meanwhile, Envy laid Simon on the ground while Dr. Gomez and Palpa carefully examined him.
“It’s his leg.” Envy said to both of them. Carefully, Palpa and Dr. Gomez removed all the armor from Simon’s injured leg, which appeared to be blistering and irritated on the back.
“Oh damn!” Bonnie exclaimed as she saw the wound.
“How exactly did he get this wound?” Dr. Gomez asked. All of them paused for a moment, until Envy answered with,
“...It’s….a long story actually.”
“Oh,” Dr. Gomez said, “Well whatever happened, he appears to be suffering from a second degree burn. So with proper treatment, he should be fine.”
“At least I know he’ll be ok.” Envy said. Then suddenly, Simon remembered something.
“Hang on a second, I think I got something that should help with this.” Simon said.
“And what’s that?” Dr. Gomez asked. Simon then closed his eyes and began to focus deeply on his soul, until he opened his eyes back up and reached his hand out for something invisible. Once he grabbed the object, he snapped out of focus and a red potion appeared in his hand. All the villagers gasped as they witnessed the unquestionable act that Simon just pulled off. “What in the world was that?!” Dr. Gomez shouted out of pure disbelief.
“What?” Simon asked, confused.
“Th-That thing you just did, how did you do that???” Dr. Gomez asked. Simon didn’t understand what he was talking about at first, but then he figured it out.
“Ohh. That thing I just did,” Simon realized, “Yeah, I just grabbed this healing potion from my spiritual inventory.”
“Spiritual what?” Dr. Gomez said. Simon then took the cork off of the bottle and drank the potion. As he swallowed the potion, he cringed as if it did not taste that good. Not too long after, Simon’s burn began to slowly heal on its own. After 1 minute, the healing stopped, but the burn looked slightly better than it did before. Envy then asked,
“Simon, how do you feel?”
“I don’t know, Envy, but my leg definitely feels better than before.” Simon answered.
“Can you stand?” Envy asked. Simon then slowly tried to stand up, but trembled back down as soon as his injured leg touched the ground. Envy caught him as he fell.
“...I guess not…Oww!” Simon groaned.
“Babe, don’t you have more potions?” Envy asked him.
“I do, but I still feel sick from drinking that one just now.” Simon answered. He then put his hand on Envy’s cheek and smiled as he gazed at her.
“I was so worried I’d never find you.” Envy spoke to him softly.
“Well, I guess you won’t have to worry anymore…” Simon replied. Envy then went and kissed him on his lips and both of them closed their eyes as she shrouded themselves under her wings. Later, Simon and Envy were taken back to the hospital. While Simon was being examined in a separate room, Envy was back in her room talking to Dr. Gomez.
“And so, the last thing I remember before blacking out and waking up here,” she explained, “was getting sucked into another portal once again.” Dr. Gomez was astonished by the story that Envy just told him.
“Wow, a whole different world,” he said, “I always wondered there was more beyond our world, but nothing like what you just told me.”
“Yeah, I always wondered that too,” Envy agreed, “I remember my mother used to tell me stories about the universe when I was young.”
“You never told me you had a mother.” Dr. Gomez said.
“I did, a long time ago,” Envy said, “She died though.”
“Aww, I’m sorry to hear that.” Dr. Gomez replied as he pitied her. Envy then sighed and looked down as she said,
“I sure missed everyone back at Arkala, especially Ivan.”
“Speaking of Arkala, Envy,” Dr. Gomez said, “the ruins of both Arkala and Lord Drax’s mansion have recently been open for public tourism to celebrate the 1 year anniversary of the end of the war.” Envy looked at him, confused.
“Wait, what are you talking about,” she asked, “Are the people of Arkala not living there anymore?”
“A lot of things have changed since you disappeared, Envy,” Dr. Gomez explained, “You see, after Drax’s mansion was blown to smithereens, the people of Arkala and the other surviving prisoners chose to move on and start a new civilization somewhere else.”
“But why though,” Envy continued asking, “Why didn’t they choose to rebuild?”
“Now that, I’m not sure.” Dr. Gomez responded.
“Do you know where they are now?” Envy asked.
“As a matter of fact, I do,” Dr. Gomez answered, “A few weeks after the war ended, they ended up setting up their new village near Guardian City.” As Envy heard his response, her eyes widened with surprise.
“Did you say Guardian City?!” she cried.
“Yes, Envy, I did.” Dr. Gomez said. The land that Envy lived on was divided into three different nations named Okria, Cherulon, and Paldasia. Intersecting all three of these nations was the capital, Guardian City. Unlike other civilizations across the three nations, Guardian City was the largest and most popular city amongst them all. Envy had dreamed her whole life to go there someday, which was why she was stoked when she heard that the people of Arkala set up their new home there. During the excitement, Palpa stepped into the room.
“Hello again, Ms. Envy.” she said.
“Ah, Ms. Mikon,” Dr. Gomez said as he noticed her come in, “You’re back.”
“Dr. Gomez, I see you’re still here.” Palpa said, almost unsurprised.
“How’s Simon doing?” Envy asked.
“Don’t worry, Ms. Envy, he’s fine,” Palpa answered, “He drank another one of his healing potions that you said he was carrying and so far, his burn is getting better.”
“Good…” Envy sighed in relief.
“Now to make sure you’re healthy,” Palpa explained, “I’m gonna have to do a physical exam and then a bloodwork on you. After that, you should be free to go.”
“That reminds me, I gotta go see a patient.” Dr. Gomez realized as he looked at his watch. Before he walked out however, he turned back to Envy and said, “Envy…”
“Yeah?” she said.
“I’m really glad I got to talk to you,” he said, “Welcome home.” And with that, Dr. Gomez walked out the room and closed the door. What he said was true. After spending almost an entire year in another world while being presumed dead, Envy was finally back home, and this was only the beginning of her next chapter.

“Hey, come quick! I found something!” Kevin shouted back.

Envy: *turns around and sees the Wall of Flesh approaching her at high speed before blacking out*}
Envy jolted awake in fear and panted frantically, but eventually calmed down.
