Transformation scaffolds are gigantic mobile thordonian megastructures responsible for providing the bearings necessary to construct ginormous installations and constructs more efficiently and quickly.

These infrastructure are composed of 125,000 primary beams grouped along each of the three dimensional axes. Each of these primary beams are capable of providing direct contact for locomotion, including being capable of providing the transfer for the largest hauls of resources and organization. From the main beams can sprout dynamic arrays of much smaller facilities of transfer and utility. Like all thordonian stellar scale megastructures, scaffolds utilize a vast array of dedicated gravity generators to compensate for the effects of their mass on the surrounding star system. Each scaffold is designed with a cubic configuration, with a total length of fifty million kilometers on each side.

Transformation scaffolds can be utilized for both construction and disassembly. Celestial bodies as large as gas giants can easily be fit between the gaps of the structure to be taken to sections for processing.

This transformation scaffold Mk I 1.0 is currently working on updating sanghelios' orbital planetary defense systems, preforming a complete rotation of individual operations satellites to be replaced by new ones.

Being constructs that are usually preforming a great variety of different procedures within their systems, are often operated by a community of cognitively differentiated thordonian processed consciousnesses at once, greatly varying in number depending on the quantity of tasks the scaffold is currently working on at once.
