Whisper x The Exiled: Music (COMM by Xao)
(Another commission by Xao (https://twitter.com/xao_art), featuring yet another rare-pair that I've come up with involving the Sonic franchise: Whisper and the Exiled! This is inspired from a scene in 'End of the Road' (which is currently available to be read on ArchiveOfOurOwn and will be uploaded to FurrAffinity when it's finished). Mainly, when the Exiled shows his new friends his skills with the guitar once more)
"Despite the hardships he had faced throughout his life, the Exiled never lost sight of not just his goal to save his homeworld, but also of one of his passions. The joy of producing music was not lost with him, even though most of the melodies he produced with his guitar were mostly melancholic when it was just him in his underground lair.
Upon gaining new allies in the Neo-Diamond Cutters and several mercenaries, he suddenly found himself with more company, but only a few got to hear his most melodious tunes. Those few were Whisper the wolf and her wisp friends.
Having already listened to him play during their first meeting, the group had found themselves entranced by the way this extraterrestrial played his instrument, every movement of his fingers and every strum of the strings creating a vivid image for the audience to enjoy. All of his joys and sorrows were expressed so amazingly through his masterful playing, something that put a smile on the usually stoic Whisper's face.
As the wisps floated around the tall extraterrestrial as he played, the Exiled found himself playing much more frequently, joy growing in his usually heavy heart as he found himself not just an audience...but friends. Perhaps something more, in the case of Whisper..."
