Huh, I’d never thought I’d ever get to this stage, but here I am. I’ve heard about the, um, (what do you call it again?), well, I’ve heard about aeromorphs very recently after watching a YouTube video. Well, I’ve decided to search the term up on this site and well, history was made.
I was inspired by one artist in particular, but I won’t state their names because that feels weird (look, Fandom is one thing, but here?). Don’t know if they’ll be comfortable with that. I’ve only interacted with them once and well… yeah.
So here is Phillip, my first Aeromorph. He’s a jolly old (well young) fellow who enjoys doing what he does: transport others. He finds it funny and it tickles him every time others are in him.
He works for the famous oceanic airlines, an airline company that has operations on multiple planets around the galaxy. (Ye, this is in the future, 2799 specifically)
What people don’t know is that he is capable of traversing through space. He’s powered by two plasma based jet engines. These give him some serious speed, which he doesn’t uses often because of well, safety. It’s not a common industry because of how dangerous it is, which is why most travel on starliners (ocean liners, but for space). It’s just safer.
Anyhow, Phillip is a cheerful fellow and quite a jokester. He is, ticklish and easily laughs. He’s also prone to getting distracted and can get clumsy, but that doesn’t stop him from flying.
You’d expect him to look different. But the design of aircraft of the late 20th/21st centuries is one that held up relatively well. Why fix something that ain’t broke? So it held up relatively well even into the near 3rd millennium, and even with faster supersonic planes, not everyone wants to go that fast.
Weird facts: He is also called Potato, Chip and Worm. This is because he loves potato chips/crisps and worms. He has an obsession and hordes them (well, the potatoes) like a dragon. He will aggressively defend his stash of potatoes and will harm anyone who tries to steal ‘em.
So, what’s he up to now? Well, if you could tell by all of those searchlights, there was a movie premiere! But the actors (and some politicians) who were due to take off in their private jets couldn’t make it because the crowd got a little rowdy. Well, he was there. He wasn’t expecting this to happen but it did.
He’s flying with galactic class celebrities and politicians and no one knows about it. He sure will enjoy this moment of his life.

He originates from a program initiated by United Alliance (the main protagonist faction of New Front) “Higher Ups” (the mysterious group of people with lost of influence and power who pull all the strings behind the scenes). Technology had advanced quite a lot obviously.
But the higher ups, being the ambitious people they were wanted to try something different. Did sentient machines exists? Yes. Heck, there were planes who could pilot themselves and interact in a human way. But did they have eyes? (Well, cameras I guess, but not like… anyway), did they have mouths? Could they move their body in a more flexible manner? Nope.
With research at many of the alliance’s highest universities, laboratories and technical facilities, well, we got to this point. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ (I’ve got another Aeromorph coming soon. A friendly female floatplane/seaplane)
(Is it me? Or I have only seen one artist [other than me, who just posted this] make an Aeromorph that’s non-humanoid? I’ve searched in here for a non humanoid Aeromorph made by someone but other than results from one artists, I could find none :/)
