Akemi was going for a jog through the desert—not all the way in, just along the edge; testing her footing and her stamina. The sand kept slipping underpaw, making it tricky to maintain her speed... which was probably why she didn't notice when the sand was getting oddly bouncy, squishy, soft under her weight. One stray step and she suddenly fell a short distance, coming to a very abrupt, but soft, halt. She looked down in confusion, as she was now thigh deep in... soft sand? There was a gritty wetness around her hindpaws, which confused her quite a lot. Water? Quicksand, in the desert? It was thick and squishy...

"Oh? What's this...?"

After a moment, she wriggled her legs just a little, starting to free herself—only to sink even deeper! With another plunge, she was now waist deep in the soft quicksand!

"W-What the...!?!"

She was confused, but no matter what the answer was for the bizarre quicksand, she was still sinking deeper and deeper! She had to do something! But the sand was so soft, giving way with her every wriggle...
