Alternate version of Spirou & Fantasio 1993 episode 4 Pirates' island in which the journalist duo take to the seaplane in search of the count of Champignac who has disappeared on an island in the West Indies where he was looking for a rare and mysterious mushroom that grants immortality.
Seccotine was intrigued to see her friends at Orly airport hurrying off to the West Indies in the mistaken belief that there was an important story to be unearthed. She decided to join them, and after various adventures got into trouble when she fell into one of the traps set by a trio of 18th century pirates.
She was securely tied/gagged and deposited in the pirates' lair, where she was placed under the watchful eye of the big bald man, while his companions moved to another section of the lair to inflict a torture session on Spirou, Fantasio and Pacome.
