Hee-Ho, howdy everyone! Today I bring you some Rimworld fanart. I've been kind of bouncing around Songs of Conquest, Vintage Story, and Rimworld as of late. Mostly as I wait for the Deep Rock Galactic update, and I decided to draw my big mutated bioengineered monster engaging a raider. She was my first colonist (Engie) and I kind of kitted her out as a Royal, gave her the Mechanoid Augments annnnnd I installed a couple mods to really swap up and change her features. Such as giving her Thrumbo Wool and a Horn, Bug parts, augmenting her arms, giving her regen, all sorts of nasty stuff to make her a near unstoppable monster as I was aiming to make her almost like a Kaiju.
I think I've always been a fan of "Giants" as well as overly large monsters. I just don't think that's a part of me that's ever going to change. That and I was really trying to experiment with "Body Shape" on this one. I'm not the biggest fan of drawing characters "solo" and would rather have them interact. So, drawing "giant" characters also kind of gives me an excuse to add in less detail to certain characters LMFAO- Still kind of taking a break from working on my setting, expect more fanart of video games to come
...Some thoughts I had, I do believe the Thrumbo is more of an equine or a horse looking creature and I sorta see them as the unicorns of Rimworld- some say it's kinda like a dragon, but idk about that one. I mean, especially with well- that horn they have on their head and the many mythological aspects about them makes me say "unicorn"... I once again, kind of see this one as a doodle though- maybe as I just haven't been too satisfied with some of my drawings either. I was also incredibly lazy with her right arm lmfao-
