St00pid webcomic. The first time I looked at it I spent over an hour wallowing in the archives... (* so cuuute! *)

That is DAMN good fanart of the cuckoo little ginger kitty and the old retired Sergeant-Major MWD Brutus. Who loves Pixie more than life itself. He's so wonderfully protective. Pixie can actually cute a wasp's nest into standing down. And you captured their essence really well.
PetFoolery should be proud of you.

When it comes to Pixie, yeah. When it comes to the Over The Hedge extras wildlife, he reverts back to type. And heaven help anyone that hurts Pixie's feelings.
Once you're family, though, like Jacko, he'll have your back to the end. He may be retired military, but he still knows you never leave a buddy behind.

One of my favorite supporting characters is Hugo the St. Bernard. He's not aggressively stupid like Lola. He's just simple, and he always means well. He's been used by Lola and Brutus multiple times for their prank war, because he's 200+ pounds of Cowardly Lion. He's just a sweet, gentle giant of a dog that gets taken advantage of far too often, though Brutus tries to keep it to a minimum.
