BackyardGameboy to be included in this Mobian Muscle Growth series.
Description:
One day, Don the Rooster decided to take on his janitorial duty inside the Central City TV Station, where there was no one else working there. Well, no one except Soar the Eagle, a news journalist from Sunside Island, rehearsing a couple of his own speeches in the side newsroom. Clearly, Don was unfamiliar with such a hunky yet charming eagle from some unknown island, but that was because the rooster was keen in getting the job done. However, Soar quickly noticed Don with confusion, just seeing him alone in the TV station, minding his own business. As it turned out, Don had missed the memo that the TV Station was temporarily closed for a week due to its recent scandal involving the unnamed producer, but Soar, undergoing the 2-week foreign exchange journalist program, was given the freedom to do whatever he wanted in there, as long as he didn't turn on live. With that said, all maintenance and cleaning workers were not required to do their duties at this state but they were welcome to do so if they wished, they just needed permission from the TV station's only security guard to open the door for them.
Meanwhile, the combined army of Downunda and Angel Island were laying siege onto the rest of Central City, while diverting from Universalamander's path. Helmut von Stryker was leading the soldiers of his own kind, Duck "Bill" Platypus was commanding the flying Egg Legion personnel carriers, Crocbot was commandeering a good-sized couple of heavy vehicles (such as tanks, supply trucks and dozers), and Walt Wallaby and Barby Koala were using the purple glowing stone to convert every helpless citizen in their way into fellow muscular minions. However, it had long been discovered by Crocbot that the stone's power could be amplified to a much larger scale, like the stone itself could convert even a regular-sized nation into a huge army of muscularized citizens and enforcers alike, but the problem was that it required a fully functional telecommunications system covering most (if not all) of the country, and applying the stone's magic onto the said system could take a bit more juice that normally needed. Another issue was that Walt had become very confident in finding his targets as quick and as many as he could with no problem, in other words, he had become so arrogant enough not to wait and cooperate over Crocbot's mission, which was to discover and maintain the entire telecommunications system. The third one was that overusing the stone onto targets could severely but temporarily lose its effects and would recharge itself in matter of two hours. Such insubordination infuriated Crocbot so much, that he tried to take the purple stone from Walt, so as to keep it at full, uninterrupted power prior to finalizing his mission. Walt on the other hand didn't take kindly to such a consfication of the very stone, and tried to snatch it away from Crocbot, which consequently engaged them in a small fight, all witnessed by cheering dingoes and legionnaires and the baffled Barby.
Back in the TV station, Soar highly anticipated it to be full of the very welcoming crew, not being alone in its temporarily closed state, besides the lone security guard still on duty outside, but seeing the usually apatehtic Don, he persuaded him to partake in a pretend show in the newsroom for a while, with Soar being the main anchor interviewing the rooster. Don, free from working schedule for the time being, bluntly relented and played along. Unfortunately, as soon as they had started an unofficial interview, the purple-glowing yet strangely-carved stone was thrown through the window near them in the newsroom. The rooster was quick to notice the chaos down the streets of Central City and raised his eyes to witness the robotic reptilian giant (named Universalamander) marching over downtown, which left the rooster genuinely worried, just as the security guard fearfully and hurriedly reached him and Soar, telling them to leave the building immediately. The same guard immediately left and went downstairs, and even Soar would be willing to flee for his safety, but he wouldn't dare to miss an opportunity to make a sensational take on the giant salamander, let alone a glowing stone laid in front of two birds.
The fight between Walt and Crocbot was cut short by Helmut, who angrily scolded them for getting into a petty squabble and for losing the purple glowing stone, all in a middle of the invasion. Duck, who also witnessed the fight, was able to observe where they accidentally threw away the stone, and headed where it had gone to. Crocbot was to direct his vehicles to the main point of invasion, and the rest of the bystanding minions were ordered to assist him, while Barby joined Walt in retrieving the stone.
Neither the rooster nor the eagle could quickly fathom as the purple stone took its effect onto them, giving them series of muscle growth spurts and cracks until they became hulking monsters (nearly in the same height with each other). As Don and Soar roared and then admired each other in genuinely corrupted embrace, behind them was a newsroom TV screen, getting hacked and replaced with muscular viral avatars Retro and Beta. The viral duo was immediately satisfied to notice such changes in the rooster and the eagle, but Retro insisted on looking for a more powerful structure, for where they ended up in (or specifically a TV station) was just a major part closer to the main source. Don and Soar's funtime was interrupted by the intimidating presence of Universalamander, only to be met by Duck himself who stepped off from the giant's palm and walked into the side newsroom. Duck politely apologized for ruining the duo's time and thanked them for keeping hold of the purple stone. After correctly guessing that the stone did belong to the platypus, Don and Soar knelt and bowed before him, but not without their evil smiles, and Duck returned with that same kind of smile, chuckling before announcing to the duo that they were now working for him. Satisfied, Duck ordered the duo to join him as he returned back into Universalmander's palm, right before they all went into the same main point of invasion, a large broadcasting station erected near the Holy Summit, meant to broadcast the state-sponsored news for both Station Square and Central City, and to the rest of the United Federation to that extent.
