In this drawing, Jewel and her brother Freckles meet three dogs: A jack russell terrier named Reksio, a pointer mix puppy named Scruff, and a bull terrier named Rude Dog.

I was first introduced to Rude Dog and Scruff from some art made by a deviantART user called JustinandDennis that were posted during the first few years of his dA career. Sadly, he doesn't really draw fanart of Scruff and Rude Dog anymore (likely because he lost interest in their respective cartoons), but at least Rude Dog has a pretty cool and unique design.

As for Reksio, I was actually introduced to this cartoon from Poland from the (since-deleted) Canine Style meme on deviantART.
