To the best of my knowledge, Duke 2 was not only one of the first games I ever played, but as far as I can tell, my earliest experience with vore in a videogame. It was one of those olden platformer games where enemies generally just had an omnipresent hitbox around them, but the snakes on the third shareware stage were an odd exception that swallowed you whole first and dealt constant damage to you while you were inside. Normally you were expected to just spam the fire button to blast your way out from inside, but this being the vore awakening it was, I couldn't help but just let it play out. Even in games built specifically for vore, a pred moving around even a simple manner after eating you is a strangely rare occurance.
Duke Nukem 2 has a single cheat code to restore you to full health, which I eventually started using to prolong the process even further. That cheat code, I shit you not, is E+A+T. It's probably a coincidence of cosmic proportions, but I like to think it's the game rubbing in how badly I lost the genetic lottery, lmfao. Anyway, Duke kinda just explodes in this game when he runs out of health, and that remains true even when he's inside of this enemy, so I decided to give this old encounter some long overdue justice and let this random snake enemy actually digest like I always felt like it should.
Happy vore day, by the way!
GVGBS is a series in which I revisit videogames I found both memorable and got vore cravings from, and making some amount of vore spritework out of it. I'll probably continue to add to it as long as I still have stuff on my bucket list, and probably intermittedly even after that.
