If you're below a certain age, you probably didn't know the Unreal Engine was actually named after a game. It's not really a metroidvania, but I feel like in terms of atmosphere it would scratch a lot of the same itches a Metroid Prime game would. It certainly helps that it has one of the best (arguably THE best) FPS weapon arsenals of all god damned time, and it is absolutely criminal that Epic have never really made an honest attempt to revist its universe since because they're too busy milking the shit out of Fortnite to care... well okay, Unreal 2 exists, but I wouldn't exactly call that an "honest attempt". The only real thing both games have in common is the Skaarj and a complete bastardization of the Dispersion Pistol.

Speaking of milking things, here I go again casting one of the most harmless things in a game as a pred, the Nali Cow. In a shooter game of Unreal's age, having a creature that didn't immediately try to kill you was kind of rare and novel, and I'm ashamed to admit that the first few times I saw the Nali I didn't even realize you weren't supposed to kill them. This stupid, spoilt Nali Cow swallowed Gina without really considering that it was a herbivore, but doesn't really seem to mind the idly wriggling lump in its belly. And while the Nali COULD free her... the cows are sacred to them, so if this one wanted a belly pet, the best they could do was adjust its diet so the poor thing inside had something to eat besides grass. Out of one prison and into another, right?

Generic VG Vore Brainrot Series- or GVGBS for short - is a series in which I revisit videogames I found both memorable and got vore cravings from, and making some amount of vore spritework out of it. I'll probably continue to add to it as long as I still have stuff on my bucket list, and probably intermittedly even after that.
