A vent piece. I’ve always been trying to… capture how my depression feels, especially as it has taken a turn for the worse. I felt the Hellbender salamander seemed to fit, and it certainly appealed to my affinity for native Appalachian wildlife.

I’m still unsure how I feel about this piece, so I might come back and redo this idea with different posing… But for now, it has captured how I feel.
