Soria (Narrator): “Last time, that was a long day for me and Inflight. First I show my parents and Torben about Inflight’s powers of her ability that inflates me like a balloon - Expansation.”

Soria (Narrator): “And then I was facing a new criminal organization who steals the Flying Pokémon from the wild and the trainers, the Team Cyclone.”

Soria (Narrator): “Not just two grunts, but the trio of them too; Tatsuya, Ember and Rogan. Torben and I challenged them to the Pokémon Battle, but they overpowered us. Luckily with our unexpected help from Inflight, the tables have turned, and we won the battle.”

Soria (Narrator): “I have no idea that Inflight could be that much more powerful than Team Cyclone’s high-leveled Pokémon. Is she really a Mythical Pokémon, or a Legendary Pokémon? Whatever she is, she might be our powerful ally to rescue her friends and save all kinds of Flying Pokémon before the Cyclone Trio does.”

Soria (Narrator): “And we need to ask my father’s friend from the Sinnoh region, Professor Rajko Owen, to locate Inflight’s friends and maybe Team Cyclone’s headquarters.”

Soria (Narrator): “But first, we need something to eat to fulfill our energy.”

♫Pokémon Ultra Sun/Ultra Moon: My Home Prediction (In the Style of Minako Adachi)♫

In the house of Alola Route 1, Soria and Torben already came home, and Scarlett, Soria’s mother, put the plates with Alola pancakes for Soria, Torben and Inflight.

“Yummy, pancakes!” Soria coos as she grabs the fork and picks it up and eats it.

“Mmm, it’s great! Nothing better than Alola’s malasadas and pancakes!” Torben said.

“Eat it, you two. You deserved a meal after beating those… Team Cyclone, wasn’t it?” Scarlett said.

“Yeah, that's their name, mom.” Soria said.

“And they said Inflight was already taking down Garchomp and Volcarona. She’s very powerful indeed.” Andrews said as he’s looking at Inflight who eats the pancakes with a small fork.

“I wonder if Inflight could be Soria’s main partner, dad.” Kalea wondered while reading newspapers about Battle Royal.

“Maybe, Kalea. But I think she’s very suited to be in her team.” Andrews said as Kalea nodded while Sphinx watched Soria in adoration.

He saw Soria battling the Team Cyclone trio on the TV, and maybe he wants to join her.

Pikachu savors the pancake’s aroma and sighs. “Chaa~!”

“Oh. You want some, Pikachu?” Inflight asked.

“Pika!” Pikachu nodded as Inflight picked up the pancake with a fork, and fed it to the Electric Mouse Pokémon.

Pikachu eats pancakes, savoring it and squeaks delightfully. “Pikachu~!”

“It seems Pikachu and Inflight become friends already after they teamed up against a Corviknight.” Soria said.

“Yeah, and they even like my mother’s homemade pancakes.” Soria said.

“I’m glad to hear it, Soria. Really, I’m always so happy when you praise my cooking.” Scarlett said delightedly.

“So, Soria, you said that you’re going to visit Professor Rajko, right?” Andrews guessed.

“Yeah, maybe he knows where we could find Inflight’s friends.” Soria said as she finished her plate. “Thanks for the food.”

“You're done?” Andrews cries, amazed as he looks at Inflight’s empty plate.

“Mmmm… Those pancakes were great… I couldn’t take another bite…” Inflight sighed while rubbing her stuffed belly while Pikachu’s satisfied after eating pancakes too.

“Wow, you guys too.” Andrews said, amazed as Soria gets up and looks at Sphinx.

“Come here, Sphinx.” Soria as she kneels down, and a happy Sphinx ran into her and leaped into her arms. “Good to see you too, boy.”

Sphinx purrs and nuzzles Soria’s cheek, which makes her laugh, “Hehehe! Easy now, little fella!”

“Sphinx was watching you on the TV when you’re battling Team Cyclone, and he was really amazed that you fought without giving up.” Kalea said.

“Is that so? Glad that he likes it.” Soria said as Inflight landed on the floor and approached them.

“Did he also see me when I was battling?” Inflight asked as Sphinx saw her and leaped off Soria’s arms and then nuzzled the Airborne Pokémon’s cheek.

“Hey, it tickles! I take that as a “yes”!” Inflight laughed.

“I believed Sphinx saw you battle Garchomp with no troubles at all. I think it has no chance against you.” Scarlett said.

“Duh, she’s both Fairy and Flying Type.” Kalea said.

“Yeah, that Garchomp was an easy opponent for me.” Inflight said as she was still nuzzled by Sphinx. “I think he likes us both, Soria.”

“Yeah, he sure does.” Soria said.

“Man, I wasn’t on the TV, but just Soria and Inflight.” Torben sighed, annoyed, then thought in his head. “(I cannot believe that both of them are the main characters in this story.)”

While Sphinx is nuzzling Inflight, Andrews’s cell phone rings, so he picks it up from his pocket and answers it.

“Andrews here. What’s up? Huh, oh, yeah.” Andrews said as he walked out of the house and watched the hills, and then smiled. “I see. Roger that.”

Then he turned to Soria and Torben. “Soria, Torben. I got a call from Professor Rajko. He wants you both to go to his laboratory. He said something about Team Cyclone and Inflight’s friends.”

“Really? You mean right now, dad?” Soria asked as she stood up.

“Yes, and he had something to give you something special. I’ll come with you just in case.” Andrews said.

“Something special?” Soria and Torben asked.

“Pika?” Pikachu asked.

“What does that mean?” Inflight asked.

Somewhere, a bit far away besides the Mahalo Trail, there’s a park with a road to the top research lab that studies Pokémon comprehensively, Melemele Park.

The research lab belongs to Professor Rajko (39 years old), and he’s looking at the wide TV screen, and it shows the hologram map of the world.

Prof. Rajko was looking at the coordinates of the Galar, Sinnoh and Johto regions, and muttered. “Hmm… I think these coordinates might locate them...”

Then he heard a door open, and saw Andrews with Soria and Torben with Inflight and Pikachu, much to Rajko’s surprise and delight.

“Andrews! [Laughs] Andrews, my old friend. It’s been a while since we've had glorious battles in the Hearthome City Tag Battle Competition in the Sinnoh region!” Rajko said happily as he approached Andrews and shook his hand.

“Yeah, it sure was! And I’ve brought my daughter, Soria and Torben as you asked.” Andrews said as he showed Soria and Torben.

“Soria! My, my, my, we finally met!” Rajko said delightfully.

“Yeah, I haven't met you in person.” Soria said.

“You haven’t?” Inflight asked.

“That’s right. I only chat with him with my smartphone, but right now, this is my first time meeting him in person.” Soria said.

“It’s fantastic to see you both here, Soria and Torben.” Rajko said.

“Same here, Professor Rajko.” Torben said as Rajko looked at Inflight.

“So this little one is Inflight you’re talking about, Andrews.” Rajko said.

“Yes, she has the unusual powers that can make herself and others inflating.” Andrews replied, then asked Soria. “It’s called Expansation, right?”

“That’s right, dad.” Soria nodded.

“Expansation… I’d never heard of that kind of Ability before. Maybe you can show me some demonstrations.” Rajko said.

“Okay, Inflight. You know what to do?” Soria asked.

“You got it.” Inflight says as she closes her eyes, and focuses on her powers as her gem on her forehead glows, and shares the energy into Soria.

And then Soria’s body swells up into a full sphere instantly with her limbs a bit puffed, and then she lifted off the floor.

As Soria floats slowly towards the ceiling, Rajko becomes super surprised while hanging his jaw down and gasping slightly.

“Wow… This is unreal.” Rajko gasped as Inflight focused herself with her ability and puffed up like a balloon and hovered in the air.

“So this is Inflight’s ability you mentioned earlier.” Rajko said.

“Yes, with this power, Inflight, and Soria, can float anywhere as they want. However, they were spotted by the Pokémon thieves Team Cyclone who wanted to capture Inflight and other Flying Pokémon, even the Legendary Pokémon.” Torben explained.

“I see… Then I am afraid that they also want to capture Inflight too, because she’s one of Flight Quartet.” Rajko said.

“Flight Quartet? What’s that?” Soria asked as Inflight shows her neutral expression and focuses on her powers which makes her gem glows.

And then as they descended to the floor, their spherical bodies started to deflate slowly, their bloated arms, and legs shrinking until they are normal form and sizes again and they both are no longer ballooned forms.

“What’s wrong, Inflight?” Soria asked.

“Everyone… I haven’t told you that before since I met you both, but…” Inflight starts as she’s looking at Soria and Torben. “I am one of the Flight Quartet.”

“PIKA?!” Pikachu gasped in shock.

“You were?!” Torben gasped, in shock likewise.

“We are a group of Mythical Pokémon who travel the skies by using different methods of flight. I am the first one who uses the powers to inflate my body, but you know my name, of course.” Inflight explained.

“Yes, we know who you are, Inflight. Who are the next three of them?” Soria said.

“The second one who has the thrusters or rockets - Rockerush. He’s both Fire and Flying Type. The third one who has the propellers - Propellsoar. He’s both Steel and Flying Type. And the fourth one who has wings - Skywing. She’s a pure Flying Type.” Inflight explained.

“Hmm, “Rockerush”, “Propellsoar” and “Skywing”... You know, it sounds like those are the parts of the flying transports.” Torben stated confused.

“Well, at least we know these Pokémon have names.” Soria said.

“And I’ve located them in some three regions.” Rajko said as he saw the hologram map. “They were either in Galar, Sinnoh and Johto regions.”

“Three regions? Sounds like we have to choose which region we should start first.” Soria said.

“Oh man, it’s hard to tell which region will the Team Cyclone appear in. They could be anywhere in this world.” Torben groaned desperately.

“True, and there are some rumors that there's a hidden Team Cyclone hideout somewhere in the ocean. And some of them are about working on the flying fortress.” Rajko said.

“The hideout? And the flying fortress?” Soria asked.

“Oh boy. Well, looks like we got some things to do.” Torben said.

“Yeah, and we’ve got to save the Flying Pokémon, Legendary Pokémon and the rest of the Flight Quartet before Team Cyclone does.” Soria said as Inflight and Pikachu nodded.

“Sounds like you’re having a new adventure. It’s gonna be difficult, because as long as Team Cyclone is still out there, they’re going to take the freedom of Flying Pokémon, the sky will be their kingdom.” Rajko said.

“But as long as you still have Inflight and current Pokémon on your side, I’m sure you’re able to stop them.” Rajko continued.

“I think all we need is more Pokémon on our teams.” Torben said.

“Yeah, I agree. And more trainers on our side.” Soria said.

“Soria, Torben, do you still have your own smartphone?” Rajko asked.

“Yes, we do have.” Soria nodded as she and Torben took their smartphones out of their pockets.

“Uhm, aren’t you going to give us Rotom Dex as our mentor or guide for them by providing tips and useful advice?” Torben asked.

“Oh, I have better ideas.” Rajko said as he tosses two Pokéball in the air and summons Plasma Pokémon - Rotom!

“Roto!” Two Rotom shouted.

“Are they Rotom?” Inflight asked.

“That’s right. They are both Ghost and Electric Pokémon.” Soria said.

“Indeed they are. And they can possess a smartphone that doubles as a Pokédex and become the Rotom Phones.” Rajko explained.

“Rotom Phones?” Soria asked, amazed.

“Oh, I got it! They are popular electronic devices in Galar and in Paldea regions, and can host a multitude of functions and applications, including a Pokédex. How cool is that?” Torben asked after he talked through his knowledge about the Rotom Phones.

“So, can they talk like Rotom Dexes?” Soria asked.

“Unfortunately they rarely speak on their own, but they can explain the data about Pokémon. Now take your smartphones and hold them up high.” Rajko replied, and stated.

“Okay.” Soria and Torben nodded, and they did hold them up high.

And then both Rotoms flying towards their smartphones and entering inside them, and transforming the devices into Rotom Phones; their eyes opened on the backside and their lightning-shaped top grew.

“Wow…!” Soria and Torben gasped, amazed.

“They went inside!” Inflight gasped, amazed likewise.

“Okay, let’s try scanning Pikachu first.” Soria said as she scanned Pikachu with her Rotom Phone.

“Pikachu, the Mouse Pokémon. An Electric type and the evolved form of Pichu. It raises its tail to check its surroundings. The tail is sometimes struck by lightning in this pose. It has pouches on its cheeks that can store electricity, which it releases if threatened.” Soria's Rotom Phone said in its monotone, robotic female voice.

“Wow, the power of science is amazing!” Soria said, amazed.

“Hey, can your Rotom Phone know about me?” Inflight asked.

“Hmm, if my father’s Rotom Dex doesn't know about you, maybe my Rotom Phone knows about you. I think I’ll give it a try.” Soria said as she scanned Inflight.

“No available data.” Soria's Rotom Phone said as Inflight gasped, and hung down sadly.

"I guess no one's written anything about you before," Soria said, putting away the Rotom Phone.

“Soria, maybe I shall give you an empty Pokédex entry so you can write your way about Inflight on my computer.” Rajko said.

“Yeah, sure thing.” Soria said as she sat down on the chair and started to write her own writing about her own first Pokédex entry.

“Inflight, the Airborne Pokémon. A Fairy and Flying Type. When the gem on its head glows, its body inflates like a balloon. It can share this power with other Pokémon and people. Inflight is part of the mysterious group called Flight Quartet.” Soria narrates her own Pokédex entry.

“Well written, Soria. I’m so flattered.” Inflight said.

“I must say this, Soria, you’re very good for your first time writing your own Pokédex entry. You may become a Pokémon Professor like me, Kukui and Professor Oak someday.” Rajko said.

“Hehe, thanks. I write this because of my experience with Inflight and learned her powers.” Soria said as Inflight nodded to agree.

“Wow, you have a good memory, Soria.” Torben said.

“Hehe, thanks, Torben.” Soria giggled.

“And before you go out on your journey, you and Torben need a Starter Pokémon in your team.” Rajko suggested.

“A Starter Pokémon?” Inflight asked.

“You see, Inflight. A first partner Pokémon, also referred to informally as a Starter Pokémon, is the first Pokémon that a Trainer owns at the start of their Pokémon journey. This primarily refers to Grass-, Fire-, or Water-type Pokémon given to trainers by a Pokémon Professor.” Soria explained.

“Yeah, for example like in the Kanto region, a trainer has to choose either Charmander, Squirtle, or Bulbasaur. But here in the Alola region, a trainer will choose either Litten, Popplio, or Rowlet.” Torben said.

“Oh, I see.” Inflight said.

“So, Professor Rajko, maybe that means I shall have Popplio or Litten?” Soria asked excitedly.

“Or shall I have Rowlet?” Torben asked.

“Well Soria, I unfortunately don’t have Popplio or Litten. But I do have Rowlet for Torben.” Rajko said while Soria lowered her head sadly.

“Oh… I see.” Soria said as Andrews patted his daughter’s shoulder to comfort her.

“Don’t worry, Soria. I am sure you’ve caught some Pokémon when you’ve traveled with Inflight.” Andrews said.

“Yeah, I guess you’re right.” Soria sighed sadly, then suddenly someone made a cheerful cry from another room.

♫Pokémon Scarlet & Violet OST - Lively Starter Pokémon♫

Suddenly, a bipedal Pokémon resembling a chimpanzee and has a light-colored stomach with a little swirl at the top of its chest, ran around the room happily.

This Pokémon is called Chimchar, Chimp Pokémon, and he leaped into Rajko’s right shoulder.

“Chimchar!” Chimchar cries joyfully.

“This is the Chimp Pokémon from the Sinnoh region, Chimchar.” Rajko said.

“Aw, so cute~!” Soria squeals happily as she clasps her hands and her eyes glitters like stars.

And then a small, avian Pokémon, resembling a young owl with a round body and short legs with sandy-colored feathers and a darker white underbelly, flies around the room and then lands at Rajko’s left shoulder.

This Pokémon is called, Rowlet who let his usual cry. “Roooow!”

“And this is Rowlet, the Grass Quill Pokémon of the Alola region.” Rajko introduced.

“Woo, nice.” Torben chuckles.

“And there’s no Water-type Star Pokémon around here?” Andrews asked.

“Oh, it’s coming too.” Rajko answered as a bipedal, turquoise colored crocodilian Pokémon with well-developed jaws with his yellow, V-shaped marking across their chest, red eyes, and raspberry spikes that go down its back to its tail.

He ran around the room and stood with Rajko.

This is Totodile, a Big Jaw Pokémon who lets its usual cry. “Totodile!”

“And this is the Big Jaw Pokémon, Totodile!” Rajko introduced.

“Nice! All of them from different regions! How cool is this?” Torben asked, amazed.

“So those are Chimchar, Totodile, and Rowlet.” Soria said as she scanned them with her Rotom Phone.

“Chimchar, the Chimp Pokémon. A Fire type. It easily climbs the sheerest of walls and lives on mountain tops. When it sleeps, its flames go out.” Soria's Rotom Phone said, as Soria scanned Totodile.

“Totodile, the Big Jaw Pokémon. A Water type. It has the habit of biting anything with its developed jaws. Even its Trainer needs to be careful.” Soria's Rotom Phone said.

“Geez, that little croc is good for biting.” Soria said as Inflight nodded to agree.

“Yeah, we shall watch out for his sharp teeth.” Inflight agreed as Soria scanned Rowlet.

“Rowlet, the Grass Quill Pokémon. A Grass and Flying type. It stores energy during the day from photosynthesis. It swoops down without making a sound and unleashes a powerful kick without being noticed.” Soria's Rotom Phone said.

“Woo, pretty cool, huh?” Torben said.

“Pika.” Pikachu nodded to agree.

The three Starter Pokémon are approaching Soria and Torben, and are ready to be picked by each of them.

“Okay, Soria? You can go ahead and choose first. Now think carefully before you choose.” Rajko said.

♫Pokémon Anime BGM - Laboratory (Opening) (2006~2010(DP)-M02)♫

“No need. I've already decided.” Soria said as she approached Chimchar and kneel down.

“Oh, Chimchar, eh?” Rajko asked, surprised.

“That's right. It wasn't really a tough decision. The thing is, I've always wished to have Chimchar when I was 8 years old. So that is why I’m hoping that when I grow up, it will help me have the passion and energy of a red-hot fire. So now I've decided that my first Pokémon should be a Fire type Pokémon.” Soria said.

Chimchar was overjoyed to hear that Soria picked him as his first partner, so he leaped into Soria’s shoulder.

“Chim, Chimchar!” Chimchar cries happily.

“Well, he’s so happy that you chose him, Soria.” Inflight said.

“It seems so.” Soria said.

“Very well. Then what about you, Torben?” Rajko asked.

“I’ve already decided to choose a Grass type, Rowlet.” Torben said as he approached Rowlet and kneel down. “Come here, little guy. We’re going to have an exciting adventure.”

Rowlet makes his delightful cry and flies off the floor and lands on Torben’s left shoulder.

“Nice to meet you, Row-” Torben said as suddenly Totodile leapt into his right shoulder. “Hey! What are you doing, Totodile?”

“It seems like Totodile doesn't want to be lonely, even if he wants to stay with me, so he decided to come with you.” Rajko said.

“Oh, really? Is that what you want, Totodile?” Torben asked as Totodile nodded happily. “Alright, then I choose you too.”

“Toto-Toto-Toto-Totodile!” Totodile cries happily as he's flailing his arms in joy.

“Golly, that Totodile looks very happy.” Inflight said.

“Yeah, and now we got all Starter Pokémon by Professor Rajko, we can finally set off on our journey.” Soria said as suddenly, she heard a cry behind her.

It’s the same Sphinx from Soria’s family who ran into Soria and leaped into her arms.

“Hey there, little guy! What are you doing here?” Soria asked as Scarlett and Kalea came into the laboratory.

“Soria, I think Sphinx would like to join your team if you want to go out and stop the bad guys at the same time.” Kalea said.

“Really? Is that what you want, Sphinx?” Soria asked as Sphinx nodded happily and Scarlett gave her Sphinx’s blue Poké Ball with a lightning mark on.

“Here’s Sphinx’s Poké Ball. And take good care of him, Soria.” Scarlett said.

“Don’t worry, mom. I will.” Soria said.

“Soria, I think I suggested that you make two Pokémon teams. One team will be the Flying Team and the other team will be the Land Team.” Andrews proposed.

“Oh, you mean like…” Torben was about to ask.

“Yeah, like if I use Chimchar as my Land Pokémon teammate, I’ll also use Fletchinder as my Flying Pokémon teammate, right?” Soria guessed.

“That’s the idea. You can switch your team if you need them to fight in the air or on the ground.” Andrews said.

“If you would like, you can occasionally use the Flying Pokémon team for ground as well.” Professor Rajko said.

“Thanks. I'll keep your suggestions in mind. Thank you, dad.” Soria said as she heard a beeping sound from the hologram map.

It came from the signal from Big Wave Beach, and it's confirmed that it’s a huge airborne aircraft carrier which is 200 meters.

“What is this? An aircraft?” Scarlett asked.

“It looks even bigger than it looks.” Kalea said, amazed.

“Look at the symbol! On its back!” Andrews said as Rajko pressed the buttons to zoom in on the aircraft carrier, and it revealed the Team Cyclone symbol.

“That aircraft belongs to the Team Cyclone.” Soria hissed as Inflight, Chimchar and Sphinx narrowed their eyes in anger.

Pikachu lets his electricity from his red poaches in anger.

“Did they build an aircraft this huge?! Did they spend a lot of fortune after they sell Rare Bones or Pearls they found in the regions?” Torben scoffed.

“Or more like stealing money from other trainers.” Soria assumed.

“Hmm, yeah, that too.” Torben said.

“I don’t know how long it's been there, but if those Team Cyclone grunts are using their vehicles, this must be an opportunity to sneak aboard and find out where they are heading.” Professor Rajko said.

“Right. Tomorrow, it’s now or never. This is it, my friends. Our mission is rescuing Inflight’s friends, known as Flight Quartet, setting free the Flying type Pokémon, and stopping Team Cyclone and their boss. Are you with me?” Soria speaks to Torben, his and her Pokémon, including Inflight.

“Chimchar!” Chimchar shouts as he raises his fist into the air.

“Sphinx!” Sphinx shouts likewise as he raises his paw into the air.

“Totodile! Totodile shouts as he raises his fist into the air.

“Rowlet!” Rowlet shouts as he raises his wing into the air.

“Pikachu!” Pikachu shouts as he raises his wing into the air.

“Yes, Soria. I’ll always be with you all the time!” Inflight shouted as she raised her fist into the air.

♫Pokémon M22: Mewtwo Strikes Back Evolution Music Collection - Main Title♫

“You got it. Let's make a promise to stay together until the end and always look out for each other!” Torben said as he stuck out his hand. “Inflight, Pikachu, Chimchar, Sphinx, Totodile, Rowlet, shall we?”

“Okay, Tor! I’m in!” Soria said as she approached and placed her hand on Torben’s hand.

“Pika-pika!” Pikachu said enthusiastically as he approached and placed his hand on Soria's hand.

"Chimchar!" Chimchar said enthusiastically as he ran forward and placed his hand on Pikachu's hand.

“Sphinx!” Totodile said enthusiastically and put his paw on Chimchar's hand.

“Totodile!” Totodile said enthusiastically and put his hand on Sphinx's paw.

“Roow!” Rowlet said enthusiastically and put his wing on Totodile's hand.

“Alright! Let's do it!” Inflight agreed as she placed her paw on all the others.

“Then it's settled!” Soria nodded as they broke off. “LET’S GO!!”

NEXT MORNING…

Meanwhile, a bunch of Flying Pokémon are flying around a caged coliseum in front of a cheering audience, while the leader of Team Cyclone, Lady Duvessa, is sitting on a throne. Her three henchmen Tatsuya, Ember, and her children Cielo and Céline, and her comrades Doctor 'M' Macroni, Cumulow and Zephyr sit nearby.

“Finally! When this Flying Pokémon Stadium is completed, our boss's ultimate goal will be fulfilled! Yes! And the name Lady Duvessa will go down in history!” Doctor 'M' Macroni shouted victoriously.

“You’re doing great work, Cumulow.” Macroni said.

“Thanks, Doctor Macroni. I’m glad that you like it.” Culu said.

“They’re flying, dancing, singing and doing some fascinating tricks.” Macroni said.

“Obviously, there are lots of mysterious and surprising things about these Bird Pokémon.” Cumulow said.

“Aw, Cumulow, you goofy girl. All Flying Types are not birds, some of them are insects, dragons, or other types of creatures. In this simulation, however, we only have Pidgey and its evolutionary lines. Could you please add other flying types?” Macroni asked.

“Unfortunately, we have only data of Pidgey, Spearow, Hoothoot, Taillow, and Starly evolutionary lines so far. The rest of them are locked.” Cumulow replied.

“Well, try to “unlock” ‘em all. We can show this simulation footage that will impress Lady Duvessa and perhaps encourage her to become the queen of all Flying Pokémon!” Macroni said.

“Oh yeah? And what about you?” Cumulow asked.

“Very simple. The world will soon that I become the smartest doctor of all time, because my name is Doctor “M” Macroni, the greatest scientific Flying type genius in the world!” Macroni declared.

“I don’t think the Flying Pokémon agreed with you, because you’re the expert of Electric type Pokémon which are advantageous against them.” Culu said.

“Oh… Thanks for remind me.” Macroni groaned irritated.

Suddenly, a door opens behind them, and Zephyr approaches Macroni and Cumulow.

“Good afternoon, Dr. Macroni.” Zephyr greets.

“Ah, Zephyr, my boy. How is the construction going on the flying fortress?” Macroni asked.

“It’s coming along fine, but I've discovered that I'm missing some parts. It looks like we'll have to get them delivered.” Zephyr replied.

“Ah, yes… The Flight Quartet, isn’t it?” Cumulow guessed.

“Lady Duvessa got a call from Tatsuya on Poni Island, and he said that he and his team were defeated by two young Trainers with an assistance from one of the Flight Quartet.” Zephyr informed.

“Intriguing. So those two Trainers find one of the quartet at Melemele Island. What’s its name?” Macroni asked.

“That one’s a female, and it’s both Fairy and Flying type. The Airborne Pokémon, Inflight.” Zephyr replied.

“Aw, that name is so cute. What kind of power does she possess?” Cumulow asked.

“Well, it may sound strange, but it does have the power to inflate both humans and Pokémon.” Zephyr replied.

“Inflate? You mean like expanding like balloons?” Cumulow gasped, surprised. “Gee, that sounds like an unusual, yet interesting power.

“Where’s Tatsuya and the other two anyway?” Macroni asked.

“They arrived at Melemele Ferry Terminal yesterday, and slept over at the hotel.” Zephyr replied, once more.

“Good, then we shall contact them when they’re onboard their aircraft, Rango.” Macroni said.

Meanwhile, Soria, Inflight, Torben and Pikachu had arrived at Big Wave Beach, and saw Team Cyclone’s aircraft, Rango, which stood on the beach.

“Wow, look at the size of that aircraft…!” Soria gasped as they got closer to Rango.

“So that’s where Team Cyclone’s piloting this ship. No wonder why they’ve got here.” Torben said.

“Pika.” Pikachu agreed.

“Maybe we shall take a map on the ship, and maybe we’ll find out where those thieves are heading next.” Soria said.

“And maybe we have to know which of my friends is.” Inflight said.

“So, how do we get in?” Torben asks as Pikachu’s ears raise up; he senses someone behind them, far away on the top of the hill.

“What’s wrong, Pikachu?” Torben asked.

“Pika, pika!” Pikachu said as he pointed at the Team Cyclone trio who’s coming downhill.

“Those guys again.” Soria said. “They are heading to this ship.”

“Come on! Let’s hide!” Torben said as the others nodded, and hid behind the large rock, to not let Tatsuya, Ember and Rogan see them.

“Finally, we can finally go back to the headquarters with Rango.” Tatsuya said.

“Yeah, we had such a wretched day. First we lost to those trainers, then I’m inflating by Inflight’s powers, and then we fell at Vast Poni Canyon. Not to mention the worst part; crossing the water with rowboats, and I hate water.” Ember complained.

“The only thing you hate about water is just Water type, isn’t it?” Rogan guessed.

“Yeah, just that. But not drinking water if I need to drink.” Ember said.

“But the worst part of the ocean is that a giant sea serpent Pokémon named Gyarados attacked us while we were crossing the ocean, and boy, it’s very ticked off.” Tatsuya said.

“And now we have to deal with the worst part; getting scolded by Lady Duvessa.” Rogan said.

Behind the rock, Soria’s eyebrow raises in suspicion and thoughts in her head, “(Lady Duvessa? That’s their boss?)”

“What other choice do we have? Anyway, let’s get in.” Tatsuya picked up the remote control and pressed the button to open the rear ramp. “Come on, guys.”

And so the Team Cyclone trio enters the Rango ship.

“Come on! Now’s our change!” Soria whispered as Torben, Pikachu and Inflight nodded.

They sneakily onboard the ship and hid behind the crate boxes, while the Team Cyclone trio walked through the large corridors and headed to the large control room.

As Soria and Torben sneakily quietly behind the Team Cyclone trio, they saw hovercrafts in the parking room, the Hover Bikes.

“Wow, check it out… Are they a kind of bike?” Soria whispered.

“Gee whiz, they’re using hover bikes. Those Team Cyclone grunts really like to fly, do they?” Torben whispered.

“Never thought those humans could use these stuff to fly with.” Inflight said.

“Pika.” Pikachu agreed.

Suddenly, the rear rump closes behind Soria and the others.

“It’s closed.” Soria whispered, and she could feel the ship starting to lift off the beach slowly, and heading out to the sky.

“Wow… The ship’s taking off…!” Torben whispered.

“Well, now we’re onboard the ship, and we’re going to have to find out where we are going.” Soria whispered, as Inflight and Pikachu nodded.

Then they continue to spy on the Team Cyclone trio who arrived in the large control room, and Tatsuya presses the button to contact the boss while Soria, Torben, Pikachu and Inflight peeks through the door.

“This is Tatsuya. We’ve arrived at Rango. Can you hear us?” Tatsuya said.

Then the hologram screen shows their boss, Lady Duvessa in front of the trio who salutes to her.

Lady Duvessa has white-bluish colored hair with tornado shape, and smiles on her lips with neutral eye expressions, and she’s 38 years old.

Soria, Torben, Pikachu and Inflight gasped quietly while they saw the Team Cyclone’s boss for the first time.

“Greetings, Lady Duvessa. It's pleasant to see you looking so…beautiful.” Tatsuya greets while giving her a compliment while Ember scowls at him, annoyed.

“Thanks for your compliment, Tatsuya. So you’ve finally come to Rango safe and sound.” Lady Duvessa said. “You said that you were defeated by Inflight, hmm?”

“Yes, ma’am, and she befriended the blue-haired girl named Soria, and shared her unusual powers to inflate them both and fly around the Alola region.” Tatsuya replied, in the corner of the door, Soria narrowed her eyes.

“Soria, huh? Is that girl you’re interested in?” Duvessa asked while smirking.

“Yes. She’s 18 years old, and she’s somehow experienced and has good skills for battling, and loves Flying type Pokémon.” Tatsuya said as she showed the hologram of Soria. “She and the other trainer named Torben have already beaten two of the grunts yesterday.”

“Hmm, how fascinating. Those trainers are not bad at all. But it’s too bad that your Garchomp was beaten by Inflight’s powers, since he’s both Ground and Dragon type.” Duvessa said.

“Yeah, I’ve let my guard down. I’m sorry, Your Ladyship. That we’ve failed you.” Tatsuya apologized as he bows.

“Save your apology later. For now, your new assignment is to find the Propeller Pokémon, Propellsoar. And it’s located on the Galar Mine, a mine that connects Route 3 and Route 4 of the Galar region.” Duvessa informed.

“Galar Mine. Between Route 3 and Route 4. Understood. We’ll find it in no time.” Tatsuya saluted.

“Good, and whatever you do, don’t disappoint me.” Duvessa said as the screen turned off.

On the corner, Soria and Torben looked at each other.

“So that’s what their boss looks like. She looks more like a minister than I thought.” Torben whispered.

“Yeah, and did you hear what she’s said? Propellsoar is in the Galar Mine. We’re all going to the Galar region.” Soria whispered.

“Well, I guess that’s our destination.” Torben whispered as they sneaked away quietly.

“(Don’t worry, Propellsoar. We’re coming to save you.)” Inflight said in her head.

In the control room…

“Well, at least we don’t get scolded by Lady Duvessa. She’s somehow a very understandable person.” Ember said.

“Well, for now, while we’re heading to the Galar region, I guess it’s time to make a Spicy Burger-Steak Curry.” Rogan said.

“Mmm, sounds spicy, but delicious. Let’s eat!” Tatsuya said.

“Right!” Rogan and Ember cheered.

Suddenly, they heard a beeping sound from the sonar.

“Hold on, it appears that we have four signals inside the ship, Tatsuya.” Ember said.

“Four signals? Display the image on the main screen viewer, Rogan.” Tatsuya commands.

♫Pokémon Movie 20 BGM - It's Absurd♫

“Roger that!” Rogan said as he pressed the button, and the display screen showed Soria, Torben, Inflight and Pikachu sneaking through the corridors.

“Soria? Torben? Huh, so they have managed to sneak aboard.” Tatsuya said.

“Yeah, and it’s time for revenge, big time! That insolent Airborne Pokémon is going to pay for blowing me up!” Ember growled.

“They could be anywhere in Rango. How can we possibly find them in this large ship?” Rogan asked.

“Don’t worry. My Pokémon got this. This looks like a job for Tyrantrum!” Tatsuya said as he tossed his Pokéball and summoned a large bipedal, dinosaurian Pokémon that resembles a Tyrannosaurus Rex, Tyrantrum.

The giant male Despot Pokémon let his roar out while scaring the other Team Cyclone grunts, but not Tatsuya.

“Tyrantrum, use your keenest senses of smell to find those stormy stowaways and bring them here.” Tatsuya commanded as Tyrantrum nodded.

The giant Fossil Pokémon turns around and walks across the corridors.

“Lock the Hover Bikes! Do not let them escape!” Tatsuya commands as the grunts nod and press the buttons to lock down the Hover Bikes.

Meanwhile, Soria and Torben noticed the signs indicating that all hover bikes are locked down at the parking lot.

“Oh, no… Lockdown.” Soria said.

“I think Team Cyclone knows that we’re here thanks to this ship’s technology.” Inflight guessed.

“Pika.” Pikachu said.

“Great! So now we’re stuck here with those criminal creeps who are now searching for one of Flight Quartets in the Galar region!” Torben complained.

“Tor, don’t lose your head! I assure you that someway, somehow, there’s gotta be a way to escape.” Soria said as she felt the floor shake a little.

“What was that? Earthquake?” Torben asked as they heard a distant low growl from the corridors.

“Do earthquakes growl?” Inflight asked as Pikachu turned around and saw something huge was coming.

♫Pokémon Movie 20 BGM - The Raging Incineroar♫

“PIKA-PIKA!!” Pikachu shouted as Soria, Torben and Inflight turned their heads at Tyrantrum who stepped out of the shadows and stopped in front of them.

“I-It’s Tyrantrum!” Soria gasped as Torben picked up his Rotom Phone and scanned Tyrantrum.

“Tyrantrum, the Despot Pokémon. A Rock and Dragon type, and the evolved form of Tyrunt. Thanks to its gargantuan jaws, which could shred thick metal plates as if they were paper, it was invincible in the ancient world it once inhabited. For a long time ago, Tyrantrum dominated like a king over the other land-dwelling prehistoric Pokémon around the volcano.” Torben’s Rotom Phone said in its monotone, robotic male voice.

“I thought those Fossil Pokémon were extinct!” Inflight said.

“Well, then that is one angry fossil.” Soria said.

“I think it was summoned by Tatsuya since he’s an expert on Dragon types.” Torben said.

“This doesn’t look good.” Soria comments as Tyrantrum lets out a loud roar and starts running after them.

“Here it comes! Run!” Torben shouted as he, Soria, Inflight and Pikachu were running from the giant Fossil Pokémon.

Luckily, Soria saw a door beside her and shouted. “In here, quick!”

Soria opened the door, and Torben, Pikachu and Inflight ran inside, and Soria closed the door as the Tyrantrum slowed down and looked at the door, and gently bumps the door with his nose.

“Come on! Barricade the door!” Soria said as she summons Chimchar from his Poké Ball, while Torben summons Totodile.

“Come on, guys! Help us to block this door!” Torben shouted as the Pokémon nodded, and helped him, Soria, Pikachu and inflight to block the door.

♫Pokémon Movie 23 BGM - Eaten by a Cramorant~?!♫

On the other side, Tyrantrum sniffs to keep following their scent until Tatsuya, Ember and Rogan run into the door.

“So they hid behind that door, huh? Good work, Tyrantrum.” Tatsuya said.

“Heh, they can run, but they can’t hide, that's what I say.” Rogan said.

“Well, there’s nowhere to hide.” Ember said as Tatsuya grabs the knobs, and tries to open it, but it’s stuck.

“That’s weird. I can’t get this door open” Tatsuya grunts as he tries to pull the door, but it’s stuck too.

“Jiggle it a bit, it's just stuck.” Rogan said as Tatsuya glanced confused at him.

“Jiggle?” Tatsuya asked as he let go of the knob.

“Yeah, let me handle this.” Rogan said as he grabs the knob, and tries to pull it down, maybe stronger this time.

“What are you doing? Get off!” Tatsuya asks as he shrugs his arms and pushes Rogan out of the door.

“Hey!” Rogan barked.

“It's not stuck, you ninny! They barricaded it from the inside!” Tatsuya scolded.

“Oh, this is perfect!” Ember complained. “Those stowaways are really such a pain in my butt.”

Inside the room, the door was locked by a steel pole, wooden boxes and a mop.

“So you want to play like that then, do you, Soria?” Tatsuya shouted.

“I don’t have to play with thieves, not even with you, Tatsu.” Soria muttered.

“They eventually find out what we did to the door.” Inflight said.

“Hey, I’ve found a slide over here.” Torben said as he pointed at the slide behind Soria and the others.

“Wow, since when did Team Cyclone have this slide? Are they playing with this?” Soria asked.

“I do not think so. Look at the sign above. It said… “Cargo Hold”. “Cargo Hold” for what?” Inflight wondered.

“I don’t know, but we ride the slide if this is the only way out.” Soria said.

“You first, and I slide last.” Torben said as Totodile leapt into his shoulder and Pikachu jumped into his arms.

“Okay, let’s go!” Soria said.

After she has Inflight in her arms, and Chimchar on her shoulder, and then they're riding the slide while screaming through the tunnel.

Outside the room…

“Tyrantrum, Head Smash!” Tatsuya commands as Tyrantrum rams the door with a powerful headbutt, and suffers from recoil damage.

“Good one, Tyrantrum.” Tatsuya said as he pat Tyrantrum’s head which makes the Fossil Pokémon growl softly.

The Team Cyclone trio went inside the room, and didn’t find Soria and the others.

“Huh? Where did they go?” Tatsu asked.

“I thought they’re hiding in this room. They couldn’t just disappear.” Ember said.

“Ah, crud! They must have slid through this tunnel to the cargo hold! That’s where we’ve caught the Flying type Pokémon back in the Kalos region.” Rogan cursed.

“This is bad! If Soria and the others are going to cargo hold, then they are going to release ‘em all after all the hard work we’ve been through! Let’s hurry!” Tatsuya said as he, Rogan, Ember and Tyrantrum are hurrying to the cargo hold.

In the cargo hold, Soria, Torben, Chimchar, Totodile, Pikachu and Inflight were landing after sliding through the tunnel.

“What is this cargo hold for?” Torben asked.

“I don’t know, but I’ve got a bad feeling about this.” Soria said as Inflight gasped horrified.

“Guys, look.” Inflight said as Torben, Soria, Chimchar, Totodile and Pikachu saw something terrible.

♫Pokémon Movie 22 BGM - Mysterious Castle♫

They were Pokémon of the Flying type, dozing off on the cages and appearing even more hopeless and depressed. There are some Pidgey, Pidgeotto, Fletchinder, Talonflame, Spearow, Fearow, Staravia, Staraptor, Gligar, Hawlucha, Dodrio, and Zubat.

“Look at those Pokémon. They were in the cages. Team Cyclone did catch them.” Torben said.

“This is horrible. How could those thieves do such a thing to them? It’s so unfair.” Soria said angrily while her fists shaking.

Torben pats Soria's shoulder gently to comfort her.

“I know how you feel, Soria. We can’t just leave those poor Pokémon here. We have to free them.” Torben said.

Suddenly, a weak growl hears from Pikachu’s back, which makes the Mouse Pokémon become frightened.

Pikachu slowly turned around, and saw a large blue and red quadrupedal, draconic Pokémon with huge red wings, red eyebrows, and a long, tapering tail. It has large blue ears and its front and a pair of red wings that grew due to a sudden cell mutation.

This is a Dragon Pokémon, Salamence. And he looks down at Pikachu who becomes more terrified.

“PIKA!!” Pikachu shrieked and ran off. “PIKA! PIKACHU!!”

Then he accidentally tackles Inflight to the floor.

“Oof! What’s the big idea, Pikachu?! What are you doing?!” Inflight shouted angrily.

“Pikachu!” Pikachu cries terrified as he pointed at Salamence who looked at him and Inflight while letting its weak growl.

“PIIKAAA!!!/GIAAAAAH!!” Pikachu and Inflight screamed while embracing each other.

Soria and Torben turned their heads at Pikachu and Inflight.

“What’s wrong, you guys?” Torben asked before he looked up, and yelped. “AH!”

Soria gasped, but not in fear, just shocked to see the real-life Salamance, despite being inside the cage. “Wow! I can't believe it! A Salamance!”

“Phew… For a while, I thought it would break out of the cage.” Torben sighed as Soria picked up her Rotom Phone and scanned Salamence. “Uh, not… not that I'm afraid.”

“Salamence, the Dragon Pokémon. A Dragon and Flying type, and the final evolved form of Bagon. As a result of a powerful desire to fly, Salamance were able to trigger the cells in their body and cause them to grow wings. To express its joy, Salamence flies and wheels all over the sky while spouting flames from its mouth.” Soria’s Rotom Phone said.

Despite being a powerful Dragon Pokémon, it looks like it’s weak, so it lays down to the floor again.

“Oh, poor big guy. It looks so weak, it can barely stand up.” Soria said.

“Y-You’re not afraid of Salamence?” Torben stammered.

“No, it’s a part of the Flying type, Torben. Despite being a powerful Dragon Pokémon and enraged, it loses all sense of self and flies into an uncontrollable rampage, destroying everything around it until it tires itself out, it’s my favorite Dragon type.” Soria explained.

“Pika?” Pikachu asked, surprised.

“Wow, you sure like Dragon types too, despite being a Flying type too.” Inflight said, amazed.

Then they hear a low growl from Salamence’s belly; it sounds like he’s hungry.

“It looks like it’s hungry.” Torben said. “I bet those Team Cyclone jerks didn’t feed it.”

♫Pokémon Movie 6 BGM - Diane’s Feelings♫

“If it grows hungry and weaker, I don’t know how long it will live much longer. I have to give it some food I’ve brought with me.” Soria said as she picked up her backpack and opened it.

Then she picked up two malasadas, and put them gently in front of Salamance who looked at Soria weakly. He's studying Soria’s expression of concern, and caring about Pokémon, even him and the other Flying type.

“Whoa, whoa, whoa! Hold on, Soria! We need our food supplies!” Torben shouted.

“I know, but I can’t let that poor Salamence starve. It needs to eat if it wants to live.” Soria said.

“Yeah, but…” Torben argued, but then stopped as he understands Soria still cares about Pokémon’s condition, including Salamence. “Oh, okay… I got it.”

After a while, Salamence leans his head down and eats the first malasada, and savoring its delicious taste, and then eats the second malasada.

“I don’t know if they were good enough, but… These will give you some energy back.” Soria said as Salamence looked at her after he finished eating the second malasada.

Then he stood up slowly, and leaned his head slowly towards Soria who slowly reached her hand to Salamence, and then rubbed his forehead very gently.

“There, there… I’ll get you out of the cage, along with the other Flying Pokémon.” Soria said.

♫Pokémon Movie 22 BGM - The Decisive Battle Time♫

“That’s what you think.” A male voice from a high level walkway, and it’s from Tatsuya with Rogan and Ember. “If you think you’ll release all the Flying Pokémon we’ve caught in the Kalos region, then you’re sadly mistaken.”

“Wait, you’ve caught all the Flying types from Kalos?” Torben questioned, angrily.

“That’s right. Those Pokémon are going to be our flying soldiers to protect our boss, Lady Duvessa, and help her to rule the skies. Plain and simple.” Ember said.

“Have you totally lost it?!” Torben questioned, as Soria glares at Team Cyclone Trio.

“Why?! Why would you do such a horrible thing to them?!” Soria questioned angrily.

“Because we followed her orders. Got a problem with that?” Rogan asked.

“Yes, that plan is so abominable! Barbaric! Loathsome!” Soria shouted.

“You told them, Soria!” Inflight shouted.

“Duh, we are the lovely, charming villains, that’s what.” Ember retorted, sarcastically.

“Anyway…” Tatsuya said as he leaped from the high level walkway and landed in front of Soria and the group. “If you want us to release all the Flying Pokémon or this Salamence you feed, then you hand over Inflight to us.”

“That’s not gonna happen, Tatsu!” Soria shouted.

“Well, we're just gonna have to help ourselves, then, won't we?” Tatsuya smirked, before calling out to his Fossil Pokémon. “Tyrantrum!”

Tyrantrum responded to his trainer’s call, and jumped from the high level walkway and landed on the floor, roaring at Soria and the group.

“In that case, then we shall commence the Pokémon Battle!” Tatsuya said. “You and me.”

“Oh no, you don’t!” Rogan shouted as he leaped from the walkway to the floor and stood in front of Tatsuya. “It’s my turn to battle her! I want to teach her some respect!”

“Okay… Well, alright, then she’s all yours.” Tatsuya said sheepishly, then nodded as Rogan grins and turned to her.

“All right, kid! You may humiliate us, but this time it’s payback time! Go, Sandslash!” Rogan shouted as he tossed his Poké Ball and summoned Sandslash.

This Sandslash, however, is a tall, ice blue mammalian porcupine-like creature with steel-hard, ice blue crystals on its back. It has two very long claws on each "hand" used for digging paths in the snow. That is its Alolan form.

“It’s Alolan Sandslash.” Soria said, amazed as she picked up her Rotom Phone and scanned Alolan Sandslash.

“Sandslash, Alolan Form, the Mouse Pokémon. Both Ice and Steel type, and the evolved form of Alolan Sandshrew. It runs across snow-covered plains at high speeds. It developed thick, sharp claws to plow through the snow.” Soria’s Rotom Phone said.

“Torben, I’ll handle Rogan, and you’ll handle Tatsuya and Miss Hothead.” Soria said as Ember growled when she heard that wrong name.

“Who are you calling “Miss Hothead”?! My name is Ember!” Ember shouted angrily after she leaped from the walkway.

“Really? Because you have a hot-tempered personality. Hahahaha!” Torben laughed and so was his Pikachu.

“Oh, you’re gonna eat your own words! Go get ‘em, Magmar!” Ember shouted angrily as she tossed her Poké Ball and summoned Magmar.

“Magmar!” Magmar shouted as he’s making a battle pose.

“Magmar?” Torben asked as he scanned Magmar with his Rotom Phone.

“Magmar, the Spitfire Pokémon. A Fire type, and the evolved form of Magby. It was born in the crater of a volcano. Its body is covered with flames that shimmer like the sun.” Torben’s Rotom Phone said.

“(Oh man, that really fits her personality when she uses Fire types.)” Torben said, amazed in his head, then spoke to Totodile. “Ready for your first battle, Totodile?”

Totodile!” Totodile shouted as he performed his battle stance.

“Soria, I’ll go help Torben to battle Tyrantrum!” Inflight said.

“You got it, Inflight! Go for it!” Soria nodded as Inflight ran towards Tyrantrum.

“All right, flying girl. You and me. Right here. Right now.” Rogan said cockily while put his hands on his hips.

“This is your first battle, Chimchar. I hope you’re ready!” Soria said.

“Char!” Chimchar nodded while striking his battle pose.

“Hahahaha! Is this your fire monkey a new pet? Now that’s funny!” Rogan laughed while Soria’s Chimchar looked unamused.

“Chimchar, let’s show that jerk who really is monkeying around! Use Ember!” Soria commands.

Chimchar obeyed her order and releases a ball of fire from his mouth at Alolan Sandslash and hits its head.

“Oh, so you want to play hard, eh, little monkey? Sandslash, strikes back with your Metal Claw!” Rogan commands.

Sandslash’s claws glow white and blue while dashing towards Chimchar, who manages to dodge the Meta Claws.

Although Rogan’s Alolan Sandslash is Steel and Ice type, it's still looking stronger than Chimchar who keeps dodging its attack.

“Chimchar, time to use Power-Up Punch!” Soria commands as Chimchar’s fist glows with a red-orange aura.

Then he punches Alolan Sandslash’s cheek and sends it to the wall, and then Chimchar becomes surrounded by a red-orange aura as his attack power increases.

“Dang it! When this fire monkey’s keep using that same attack, his Attack state increases! Sandslash, don’t let Chimchar repeat that move! Use your Fury Swipes!” Rogan shouted as Alolan Sandslash repeatedly slashes Chimchar with its claws.

But Chimchar keeps dodging its attack many times until Alolan Sandslash getting worn out and breathes.

“Oh, no! Come on, Sandslash! Keep using Fury Swipes!” Rogan shouted to cheer his Sandslash.

“I see there’s a problem with your Sandslash. The weight of the ice makes it slower than Kantonian Sandslash. It can only move swiftly by carving a path in the snow with its claws. Just give you a hint.” Soria said.

“Ugh, I hate it when she’s right.” Rogan moaned, annoyed.

“Power-Up Punch, one more time, Chimchar!” Soria commands as Chimchar’s fist glows with a red-orange aura.

And again, Chimchar punches Alolan Sandslash’s cheek, and then he becomes surrounded by a red-orange aura as his attack power increases.

As for Torben, he’s battling Tatsuya and Ember with his Totodile and Pikachu, and Inflight’s with them.

“Magmar, use Flamethrower at Totodile!” Ember commends as Magmar's eyes glow orange, and it releases an orange-yellow stream of fire from its mouth at Totodile.

“Totodile, dodge it, and use your Water Gun!” Torben shouted as Totodile dodges Magmar’s Flamethrower and releases a stream of water from his mouth and hits the Spitfire Pokémon.

“Woo, bullseye!” Torben whoops.

“Tyrantrum, use Dragon Claw at Pikachu!” Tatsuya commands as Tyrantrum’s front arms’ claws glows light-blue and charges towards Pikachu.

“Not so fast!” Inflight shouted as she grabbed Tyrantrum’s attack which is not working against the Airborne Pokémon.

“PLAY ROUGH!!” Inflight shouted as she jumps towards Tyrantrum and cloaks him with a thick, white smoke surrounded by stars.

“Now, Tyrantrum! Head Smash!” Tatsuya shouted as Tyrantrum's body became surrounded by a whitish-blue aura, making it seem black and white.

“Inflight, look out!” Soria shouted as Inflight leaped backwards to get out of the way.

But Tyrantrum shoots at the opponent with its head pointed at it, slamming into Inflight with its head.

“GUAAAH!!!” Inflight screamed as she fell to the floor beside Pikachu.

“NO!/INFLIGHT!!” Soria and Torben shouted.

“PIKA-PIKA!!” Pikachu shouted.

Once the attack is finished, blue sparks run up Tyrantrum's body as it takes recoil damage.

“That’s the payback for what you did to my Garchomp, Inflight. Now I asked you one more time. Would you come with us?” Tatsuya asked as Inflight barely stood up, only standing on her one knee.

“NEVER!! MOONBLAST!!” Inflight shouted as she forms an orb of pink energy in front of her hands and fires it at Tyrantrum and hits its head.

“It’s payback time.” Torben growled, then commanded. “Pikachu, Iron Tail, STRONG STYLE!!”

Pikachu obeyed while he leaped towards the giant Fossil Pokémon while his tail glowing white and swung it and directly hit Tyrantrum with powerful force and sent him to the wall.

“Oh, yeah! Whoo-hoo!” Torben cheers.

“Move mastery?! No way. Just like back in Hisui age, the explorers allowed Pokémon to use a move in the Agile Style or Strong Style. Didn’t even know they could do that in the modern time, too.” Tatsuya gasped, surprised.

“That’s just a dumb luck. Magmar, use Fire Blast!” Ember shouted.

Magmar takes in a deep breath and releases a ball of yellow-orange fire from its mouth. The ball of fire then turns into a 大-shaped flame that is fired at Totodile.

“Totodile, jumps to dodge!” Torben shouted.

“Not this time! Magmar, leaps into your Fire Blast and rammed into Totodile!” Ember commands as Magmar leaped and landed into its own Fire Blast before ramming straight into Totodile.

The flames engulf the Big Jaw Pokémon, dealing massive damage to him.

“No! Totodile!” Torben shouted.

“Magmar, roasted that little croc with your Flamethrower!” Ember commands to add insult to injury.

Magmar fires a point-blank Flamethrower to the mix to cripple Totodile, and leaps backward as Totodile kneels down, but he’s not down yet.

“Hang in there, Totodile!” Torben shouted.

“PIKACHU!” Pikachu shouted.

“It’s futile! That little Water type can’t win against my strong Fire type. And I still hate Water types, and now it’s time to lose! Magmar, Fire Punch!” Ember shouted as Magmar charged towards Totodile.

Magmar creates an orange flame in between its hands and grabs it, engulfing its hand in fire. Then he throws his punch at Totodile who suddenly grabs it with both hands and his whole body becomes surrounded by a light blue aura.

“Wow… Is that…” Torben gasped.

“That’s Torrent! When a Water-type Pokémon becomes weak or tired, their ability, Torrent, is activated and their Water-type moves are getting stronger!” Soria shouted.

“What?! This can’t be!” Ember yelped, surprised.

“Oh yeah! Totodile! Strikes back with your Water Gun, Strong Style!” Torben commands as Totodile shoots its Water Gun at Magmar, and pushes him towards Ember and right into the wall.

“Ow! I hate it when that happens.” Ember muffled annoyed.

“Okay, Totodile! Time to use a new move to finish this battle! Aqua Tail, Strong Style!” Torben commands as Totodile obeys his order as his tail becomes surrounded in swirling water.

“Magmar, do something! Use Fire Punch!!” Ember shouted, panicked as Magmar charged at Croconaw while his hands engulfed in fire.

But Totodile jumps into the air and flips around, hitting Magmar with his tail, and sends the Spitfire Pokémon into the wall, and it faints.

“YAHOO! We did it, buddy” Torben cheered as he high-fives Totodile.

“Pikachu!” Pikachu cheered.

“Grrr, darn it!” Ember cursed.

At the same time, Chimchar shoots his Ember from his mouth at Alolan Sandslash and hits its head, and makes the Mouse Pokémon slide backwards.

“That’s it, Chimchar! One last attack should finish this battle off! Power-Up Punch!” Soria shouted.

“Sandslash, time to use this Ground type move to ground that monkey!” Rogan shouted.

“If you command Sandslash to use its Dig attack through the floor, then it falls off the ship.” Soria warned.

“Actually, I have a better idea. Like… DRILL RUN ATTACK!” Rogan shouted as Soria and Chimchar gasped in shock.

“Oh no!” Soria gasped as Alolan Sandslash put its arms up to its head and formed its body into a drill.

Sandslash then rotates its body rapidly and charges at Chimchar while floating in the air, stabbing him, and sends the Chimp Pokémon to the floor.

“No, Chimchar!” Soria cried worriedly.

“Haha! I think we finally tame that little fire monkey. I knew that Fire type Pokémon like Chimchar are weak against Ground type moves. It would be best for you to forfeit, or else.” Rogan advised.

“Like losing? Never! I will never give up until this battle is over.” Soria refuses and speaks with encouraging words to motivate herself.

But it did also motivate Chimchar, who stood up and grunted, then showed his determined expression as suddenly, his body became surrounded by a fiery aura. The flame on his backside grows to a massive size, powering up its Fire-type attacks.

“Chimchar… Your ability, Blaze, is activated!” Soria gasped, amazed.

“Uh-oh…! When your Fire Pokémon becomes tired or weak, its ability Blaze has activated, and its Fire type moves are getting stronger!” Rogan gasped.

“Yes, and this time, we brought some heat to you! Right, Chimchar?” Soria said as she smiles in confidence and shows her determined expression.

Chimchar nodded, and then released fire out of his mouth while at the same time starts doing a somersault, and rolls into Alolan Sandslash.

“Chimchar’s learning his Flame Wheel!” Torben shouted, amazed, as Chimchar hit Alolan Sandslash with his Flame Wheel multiple times.

And then after one last powerful strike, Chimchar sends Alolan Sandslash flying into Rogan, crashing into him which makes the remote control come out of Rogan’s pocket and land in front of Soria.

“Yeah, way to go, Chimchar! You’re wonderful!” Soria's praise as Chimchar makes happy chirps.

Then Chimchar saw a remote control and made his curious cry and pointed at the remote control.

“Oh? What’s this? A remote control?” Soria picked up the remote control.

“No, wait! Don’t press the “cage” button!” Rogan shouted.

“Why?” Soria asked.

“It will open all the cages in this room!” Rogan warned as Soria looked confused first, but then smirked as she was about to press the button.

“Oh, me and my big mouth…” Rogan mutters, annoyed as Soria presses the button, which makes Rogan and Alolan Sandslash scream like maniacs.

And then all the cages were opened, and all Flying Pokémon came out of the cages and were free and flying around the room.
