I'm excited to announce this!
Since March 2024 I've been working on a visual novel using the Ren.py engine. It's been a great learning experience and I've made a lot of progress on it!

The story follows Daren, the latest recruit in a small guild of mercenaries that combat the spread of Volithine, a mysterious but dangerous substance. As Daren, you will form bonds with the members of the guild, learn more about the wicked substance that shaped their lives, and stand up to a horrifying evil that wishes to infect the world. Above all, your time in the guild will bring you closer to the most aloof member of the group: Sparrow, a quiet fox with a haunted past. Aiding Sparrow may be to key to it all...

Shadow of Volithine is a narrative-driven visual novel blending heartfelt character bonds, intense moments, and important choices that lead to multiple endings. Navigate a story filled with emotional depth, where hurt and comfort, love and trauma, and moments of levity define the path forward. Will your choices unite the guild and save the world, or will you remain lost in Volithine's shadow forever?

The game's first demo will release in early 2025.
I'm going to be busy with a lot of things for the rest of 2024, but please stay tuned for promo art and a Steam page soon! Above all else I want people to know about this game's release!
