I took a trip to Salem MA in late September, because going there during October is a nightmare, and I felt hella inspired. I've been to Salem before, and even from my first visit, it was love at first sight. I love it there. It's probably my favorite place in the world other than my home, and that's not an exaggeration in the slightest. It's filled with cool stuff and Halloween stuff is around all year. It's full of witchy things, nerd stuff, and very LGTBQ+ friendly! And of course, it's very rich in history. So, I have alot of reasons to adore it.

Anyways, we went and they already were starting to deck out for Halloween. Being the spooky loving creature I am, I was so ecstatic and felt incredibly inspired from all the things I got to see and do there. The New England cemeteries paired with all the Halloween stuff is what lead to this piece. I wanted to draw a vintage Halloween Black cat with alot more eccentric colors.
